Yes, plenty of space once inside. Love it.

You can see my wife’s red Explorer in the one picture. She parks in the middle. Pulling in between the posts is tight but once parked inside there is a ton of room. We can open the Explorer doors all the way without hitting. You can see how small the Mustang looks parked inside.

I LOVE these threads.

Although not as pretty as the awesome examples here, I call my garage the "Therapy Centre", it is very much my happy place.

Four cars call this home and I have set the left side up for my tools of trade, the right side for my detailing gear.

Late last year I had a sink installed and I can't begin to explain how happy that made me. This little addition has been so handy for filling buckets, washing detailing brushes and measuring out chemicals.

The two cabinets are bursting at seams with detailing products and towels.

I also recently added a stainless steel holder for my pressure washer wand/gun.

This is when I'm at my happiest, out tinkering in the garage.

At some stage, I want to get the floor up to scratch too.

Man that’s a nice size double tandem garage! I wish mine were that deep. As for the floors, I’ve researched this and found that using a diamond grinding wheel preps the surface allows the epoxy to adhere best. The machine they used on mine looked like a large walk behind commercial floor buffer, only it had diamond grinding pads underneath. The flakes/flecks look nice, but make it hard to find screws, washers and nuts if dropped though.

I’m glad that this thread was started, as it’s nice to see all sorts of different ideas. I will be doing this all over again in about 5 months, although the next setup will come with some challenges (cinder block walls and no basement for storage). I’m hoping to spy some ideas on how to mount all of my wall art on the cinder block walls. I was thinking maybe mount them to 4X8 sheets of plexiglass and use 1/2” spacers on each corner and then mount those to the walls (less drilling through cinder blocks that way). I’ll also have to figure out a cost effective way to add heat/AC out there, as everything will be electric and the builders want crazy $$$ to insulate a garage for such in Florida. I would love to hear how Floridians are heating and cooling their garages, as well as storing things via suspended shelving etc. Oh, and I won’t be using flecks on the floor this time around, but nonslip granules of sand in the epoxy.

Keep the pics coming guys!

That’s the perfect setup right there! I like everything about it! What are the dimensions on it and are you running a central air unit out there?

Yes on the heat/ac using propane. The building is 40x60.

it was an EF4. saw it from my house. had my gf downstairs in the basement, while I was stuffing vehicles into the garage. lol she was yelling at me calling me stupid and stuff. nope nope nope. but seriously got lucky. im talking 1-2 blocks- complete devastation from me. every tree ripped out, entire apartment complexes taken down. was crazy.

its coming up 1.5 years now. there's a little video on middle of this page.-- problem though. is most of the homes didn't have insurance, so... a lot of homes was basically just abandoned.
I feel for you! I have been in several tornados... scary as hell! I got hit by one when I was in my car. It was night and it was raining, so never saw it coming. I've been lucky a few times.

Well, shit. Feeling like a complete scrub now.

I had to create a separate spot for the stang.

Ah, there she is. Safe and sound.

I cannot WAIT, until I can get rid of all of this crap. Her dad's snow blower, 7 ride on toys for the grandson, a spare freezer and fridge, shit she says she's going to donate, but sits in there.
