I looked around and could not find a thread where people show their garages. I just got done converting my garage door to a high lift so that I can install a 4-post lift. Now I am in the process of picking the lift I want to buy. I am leaning toward the Bendpak HD-9. The garage door used to open and come back horizontally at about 8 feet. Now it goes up and then comes back at about 12 feet, so that the door can be opened with a car on the lift. Here's a couple crappy Nest pictures of my garage. I will be doing an epoxy coating on the floor before installing the lift.

So let's see those garages.

I paid 500 for this damn giant wardrobe chest, but its loaded with all my motorcycle gear/leather/helmets/boots. its worth it. its massive, and due to covid I bought a shelf and I stockpile foods/stuff now. I buy in bulk from sams/costco now and saves a lot of money long run. things was scarce.

Looks awesome! Your Ryobi collection looks a lot like my Dewalt collection. I need to hang mine on the wall. What flooring did you use?

Not showing my garage after seeing yours!
I only did this after I joined garage journal and saw what people could do, and im impulsive, I actually sold a motorcycle to pay for the $$$ to hurry do the project. after sold one, I really liked having more space, and sold my scooters and motorcycles, kept 2. one cruiser sportster, and one sport bike, gsxs1000.

I didn't feel like paying 5-6k for a new garage floor repouring of concrete. so tossed race deck over it. I even insulated the house with over 20 inches of cellulose, that keeps the garage moderate temperature.

Imo, the biggest best thing I did was LED lighting, tossed 5 of those LED strips 4 in main area, and 1 in back. its amazing what LED' lighting can do. I recommend it to everyone. Two are blocked when garage door is up, but when you close it. its pure light, everywhere. Can see everything anywhere. No more missing bolts and nuts.

Racedeck, and the edition I got is called "tuff shield" a little more per square foot, but worth it. I just use a ryobi leaf blower every few months and blow the leaves/dust out, and I mop it like twice a year. takes 10 minutes, always looks clean.

Beer fridge, BBQ and bed, I'd live in there and be 'HAPPY place too!'
I agree. I wish I had those nice of floors, part of me was concerned about my garage, it had a settling issue, I spent 15k to have it jacked/helicoil piers installed, thats why floor is cracked from settling. that garage is beautiful!

I worried if I spent 5-7k for new concrete, and it cracking again that id be so upset that I went that route, now if I sell house, the next owner can decide whether to fix floor or not. the house is not settling anymore but damn. its a risk I don't want to do.

I spy a wash station.. man.. I wish. I fricken wish. atleast thats what I think it is.

Yeah, wash station and I also have heat, a/c, and a hose bib with hot and cold for car washing. Garage also doubles as a bachelor suite when the Mrs gets grouchy lol

Beer fridge also installed! Full of Coors, Bud Light, and Old Milwaukee.šŸ‘šŸ»

I’ve posted these pictures many times. I don’t mind posting them again. I really enjoy my garage, was build 7 years ago (wow that went by fast) should of built it many years sooner. Both garages have heat, the small garage on the left also has air conditioning! Yup, I spoil myself! (No one else is going to spoil me :) )

one day love the cars so damn much. I wish I had a larger garage, id love a dedicated motorcycle unit and car unit. instead of storing them how I have it. a tornado came and wiped out my area a year ago (18 tornados in one night here) I shoved both my cars and motorcycles into the garage but man it was tight! I was close enough that the rain from tornado power washed my house, but a block away everyone had houses uplifted/removed entirely. sad

I spy race deck as well. I really enjoy mine. it isn't for the hardcore garage owners/pulling engines/dragging trannies across floor etc, but for most people its great.

my neighbors who left cars outside, got destroyed. things was pelting there cars, looked like they got shot rocks out of a woodchipper completely destroying the sides of their cars . I ws getting hit with hail as I moved the cars in, it was crazy.. it was completely desolate, no noise, no wind, eerie. then BAM. large ass sized hail. hurt like a mofo, but I got the cars in immediately. I had to repair some of my shingles on my roof, but overall got lucky.

Wow! I’m complaining about snow coming Thursday!
Really trivial compared to what you went through! Very happy to hear you survived with minimal damage! After reading that, I’ll stop whining about snow! (Snow still sucks) 🤪
