You make your framework from 2x4 using screws and PL premium glue. Find a sheet metal supplier and get some 10 or 11 gauge galvanized for the top. I have 60 feet of that table in my shop.

Mine can't be duplicated. About 25 yrs ago I was working for a hospital that was being refurbished. They were tossing these huge 7' solid wood doors into dumpsters. I snagged one, installed some metal legs & it's been my workbench ever since. Takes 2 guys to lift & move the damn thing, it weights a ton - LOL.

LOL. I want something nice. I'm tossing up between going to home depot getting supplies or buying prefab on amazon.

I did the same thing for at my house. I keep my reloading equipment bolted down on it.
Your local thrift and second hand stores have a bunch of really cool stuff for benches and storage. I picked up two nice steel desks for $5.

My in laws were getting rid of their carpet awhile back. Decent berber carpet. I took the nicest piece and put in on my garage floor. Creeper glides across the floor like butter now. Floor is warmer in the winter. Way better than garage floor paint. And it was FREE.

I like Berber. That's what will go in my house on the next carpet buying spree.
