This just in.............

Holy Fuuuuuuuudge! This just may be the best bang for your buck I have ever done.

Works like a charm and great news for all Whipple guys. It's crazy how good the car feels now. Right now I'm @ 100% and I don't see myself turning it down but I'm still glad I got the knob as I like options.
Lol. Glad it worked out for ya

Just picked one up--thanks for the discount, Beef! I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Just out of curiosity does this fix the engine braking delay? ie. when i let off the throttle there is a full second before you feel the engine braking/ car start to slow.

Don't think this has anything to do with RPM hang, but it might. In my experience that is usually associated with drivetrain components like flywheel, clutch, drive shaft. When I swapped the flywheel in my FR-S to a lightweight one the RPMs would rise/fall very fast.

I put a lightweight flywheel on my miata I have experienced that. The hang in the mustang seems unnatural. It's like the ECU holds the rpm possibly for mpg reasons.

From what I hear a tune will fix the rev hang.
This Pedal Max I think is just as good as a tune; different car now! OMG its a beast all over again..Best mod yet! Plus it don't void your warranty; ECU isn't tampered with..

Yeah man. Got mine in today and had the same reaction. It makes the tune even better! Pedal lag is straight gone! Thanks Terry :headbang::ford:

Ordered one from Beefcake. Can't wait to get it installed to fix that irritating throttle lag!

I was hoping someone could help me troubleshoot. I ordered the Pedal Max from Beefcake recently, installed today and can't get rid of the check engine alarm. Install was straightforward, the green LED is on the unit, and I followed the instructions for troubleshooting/disconnect battery several times but still no luck. The car starts fine and idles ok for a minute, then rpms automatically climb to about 2K, CEL comes on, and advance track/traction control disable. I would appreciate any help with this.

1) Contact JMS for support
2) Hook up a code scanner, perhaps the two aren't related.

If you disconnect the device, does the CEL go away?

Yeah, the CEL goes away immediately after I disconnect the Pedal Max and reconnect the factory connector. If I can't get it figured out this weekend, I plan to call JMS on Monday when they're open.

Sounds silly but disconnect battery for 20 minutes reinstall battery without key fob in range...then go get fob start car...mine did this too and after I did that all light and service advance trac shut off ...been good for the last 1 week or more.

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave that a try and unfortunately still have the same problem.
