My unit (after getting a replacement one from JMS since the one I purchased had no throttle affect) stuck the rpms at 8000. Returned both units.

Exactly! It got stuck and went to 8000?. :eyebulge:
Is your rev limiter at stock config ?My unit (after getting a replacement one from JMS since the one I purchased had no throttle affect) stuck the rpms at 8000. Returned both units.
Infinitely safer for the engine.does it matter? would it be any safer if it went to 6500? lol
For the engine yes and possibly the driver if it was in gear. 8000 in a given gear is faster than 6500. Either way it's scary when a fast car gets stuck at wide open throttle.does it matter? would it be any safer if it went to 6500? lol
Stock. I was in neutral...Is your rev limiter at stock config ?

This is BS. The throttle on these cars are a flat out DOG.There's nothing wrong with the cars throttle response.
How did it reached 8k rpm then ? Neutral or not, limiter is independent from the transmission (I got that inertia is much lower)Stock. I was in neutral...![]()
