So from my experience the worst part of the non-PP GT was the tires. In this video it looks like a GT premium so that means its on the 255/40R19 A/S tires. My car came with the 235/50R18 A/S tires which were basically ice skates. I think that kind of gives the Mustang a bit of a disadvantage in...
Quick update. I had my car serviced and they fixed it. Unfortunately, I have smelled antifreeze ever since. I took it back a few days after the fix and they said they just spilled some and it was probably burning off. Now, almost 2500 miles later, I still smell it. I have an appointment tomorrow...
So the initial is ~6k but I was told that number is really temporary until they put it on the frame machine pull it straight and cut the quarter off to see what is damaged underneath. The money part did not bother me but them telling me they had to pull it straight for some reason got to me...
I took it to a family friend that runs a shop, didn't even bother asking about recommended body shops. He has done stuff for me before and honestly about 14k was what I was guessing. He does good work and knows how particular I am about my car.
I took it to a family friend that runs a paint and body shop. Just from me dropping it off and doing the initial walk around he was already talking about replacing the whole rear quarterpanel but I do not know what all that involves. It will be Monday before they can tear into it.
No one was hurt but I got rear ended sitting at a stop sign. Who wants to take a bet on how much it costs to fix? I think it's gonna be expensive but some friends disagree saying 4-5k I find that highly doubtful. https://imgur.com/a/qGEhz
So my mustang has just over 25k on the clock and the drivers side AC is warm but the passenger side is ice cold. To me I was thinking blend door not opening all the way? Has anyone had an issue like that? My mustang is a Base GT so it does not have duel climate or anything.
Yea I turned it all the way off. Foot on brake hold button for what feels like an eternity until it turns off. The Service Advancetrac popped up a few seconds after the first donut but went away shortly there after. This wasn't like the small notification like breaking traction with traction...
So I was leaving today and when I got out to my car it was drizzling and the parking lot was almost completely empty (I always park in the back). So I decided to "test" traction. After the car had warmed up. and with traction control off I preceded with the "test". When I did the "service...
Where I live it varies so much that its impossible to get consistent prices. Sometimes a gas station will have premium .50 higher than regular and then the next time .90. My theory is because of where I live most people do not actually buy the premium enough. So the prices are being based on...
Power pack 3 is a good deal just for the parts. You can get it for $1999.99 in some places which really is just the price of the 350 intake, throttle body, and CAI.
At $1,999 that is not a bad deal. The 350 intake is $1495, throttle body $249, could not find that exact CAI but the average ~$350 for aftermarket. That ends up being $2049 in parts alone plus it comes with a tune that you could swap out at a later date.
Lol, seriously Lol.
So if the car was making a noise but I did not have meter to measure the noise does that mean I could not report the noise? What about if was running poorly and down on power would I need a before and after dyno sheet?
The "paint being thinner" part came from...
