So the $1800 converter ONLY works between 1300-1500HP. Can someone following this help me understand this?

I was assured by JPC at purchas this would be very streetable and operate at all hp levels.

Well that's fine, but it fell over at 700HP right? So it doesn't even handle 700.



If you can get your money back, get your money back. Then call PTC, ask for Dusty and they'll build you something that will take all that HP!

Supposedly..... its designed to do that and in no way a streetable converter or function properly under the 1300 range.

Im waiting on a call back from Dylan @ JPC. He is saying the above info we got from Transmission Specialties is wrong and calling them directly. I will give them the opportunity to make it right. but I will defiantly be calling PTC to talk and get pricing and lead times.

Sorry to hear about the problems. I've always heard nothing but good things about JPC but just had a questionable experience with them myself. Hope it all works out!

Cant say i have ever heard of a converter that will show 100% slip while under power just because there isnt enough load on it. Stall lower, shift recovery.. 100% slippage? Cant wrap my head around it. Did they give a specific reason?

Talked to someoneelse at TS today, said converter is good and now they want the transmission back. Now it’s either the trans or somehow the shifter according to TS.

Hope this works out! I have been waiting on this build to lay down some killer times. It will be awesome when done.
Thanks red, i know it will all work out in the end, may cost more money but oh well when you are already sooooo invested. Shouldnt have sold the TR6060

I think today is national shit on Josh day. We also found out we will be walking away from a our shoddy homebuilder. Now is transmission and house shopping time:cheers::headbonk::frusty:

TS is rebuilding the trans under warranty. Supposedly a few parts weren't machined properly. When Jay gets it back, should be ready to rock and roll!

Install nor shifter caused the problem. But she still have the issue of having the wrong shifter.

JPC is still useless on the shifter. If Jay can get the Hurst to work properly I’ll keep it.
