I have located a gt500. I cant swing both right now. I have sold 6 s550 in last 6 years. All built and zero issues. I can give references to past buyers.
Forgot interior pic.
900 hp will go close to 150mph. Do 3.31 and be done. Even with upgraded clutches you don't want a shift into 7th. The stock 10r80 will be done very quickly above 750 you will 100% need clutches.
We try not to dyno in 7th even on upgraded trans because it does not like it.
Yes this is my car. We have built dozens of s550 cars. I put in 3.31 gears to work with stock converter. Its a perfect match. 155 in 6th at 7800 through the traps. I am shooting for 8's only so i passed on 3.15. You cant shift to 7th the trans hates it.
Jokerz ported Edelbrock with stock converter goes 1.33 sixty and 9.0 at 155. This is 2nd pass on a 4010lb car. 8's on next trip out. The only suspension mods are Bmr Springs, Lockouts ,and Viking Shocks. Gforce DS and half shafts.
The last 3 MSD I plugged in either failed in first 3 months or never worked from the start. Also on 18 its not plug and play. Number 3 needs some mods.
WOTBOX is best.
Why does every stock Roush dyno produce peak power at 6300? Heat is the number one reason but there is more to it....If you log it the throttle is limited to help cut power because of the heat.
Edelbrock is a much better option in this case.
This car is making about 600. We did not install the blower so we cant verify that piece but it was throwing random codes when it came in. Check out the slop in stock timing gear.

I have worked on this for last 7 cars we have built. On a 10 speed the 3.15 is best especially when leaving in 1st. You will shift to 7th with 3.55 and it will slip if you get it down the track. I would put in the upgraded clutches before you even start. It is 100% going to slip it happens on...
I have seen and fixed this more than once. Check your wiring, this is exactly where one pump runs out of fuel. Where is the vacuum line attached for the boost line to fire the other pumps? Also how is the controller wired to fire the secondary pumps. Two of those pumps on E85 and 1050's will...
GHOST misfires are common problem with longtubes. I see it all the time. If you are sure plugs and fuel are good have them reduce misfire sensitivity and be done. This is also very common with the DW pump. It gets very hot and honestly is not a great option for what you are doing. This is what...
