I have ordered two different sets of jacking rails for my 2019 Mustang GT. The ones I received both times are supposed to be super low profile and fit fastback Mustangs 2015-2022. However, both sets will not fit. The rear bolt holes will not line up. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I also measured both just in case one side was longer than the other. They both are the exact same size.

I have the Steeda full length jacking rails and I moved them from my 2020 Mustang GT to my 2021 Mustang GT and they fit both times without any issues. Yeah I would like to know which brand you bought.

If both are the same size, that's your problem.

One side has different hole spacing than the other - the rails are handed :like:

I would check you're looking at the right holes on the car. BMR fit perfect on my 2020 EcoBoost. Probably my favorite mod as it makes lifting the car so much easier and safe IMO.

I have the BMR Low Profiles ones on my 21 and had zero issues installing them, they are great and were very easy to install. Def should be a longer one tho...

I measured them both and they are exactly the same length and they are identical in appearance. I am confused though. I have ordered these twice from different vendors and had the same problem both times. I really like the quality of the BMRs but I am very hesitant about ordering them again. Are there any others out there of the same quality? This is my first Mustang. I have always owned vettes. But I like the GT better and I want to make sure it lasts a long time. Thanks

I would contact the vendor(s) you bought them from and return them for sure and try somewhere else or have them double check them before shipping to you.. because the driver side should be longer than the passenger side. Seems like some sort of packaging issue.

As for other brands, I have not tried any others, but I don't think you can go wrong with Steeda parts.

I bought a set from Steeda and they went in without issue. They should be different lengths. The bolt holes are different on each end as well.

Here's a pic...

Don't know what to tell you. Twice from different vendors with a like problem. Maybe they don't understand or realize the difference.

I'd return and try Steeda.

BTW, if you go the Steeda route and get a set, they come with bot hole covers. I didn't think they'd work; they kept falling out. Then I pressed in like Tupperware and they sucked themselves right in.

Total job time to remove the bolts and put the rails in is about 30 mins. From left to right, you'll notice the rocker aero molding, then the body seam, then the Steeda rail.

You could always return the ones you have and then buy them directly from BMR.

Have you contacted BMR? Cuz that's the first step I'd have taken.

I have decided not to put any on. When I put the bolts back in after finding out I didn’t have the correct rails, I noticed they went in extremely tight and I am afraid if I take them out again they will break.

IIRC, I reused the stock Ford bolts with the Steeda full-length rails, I thought the ones Steeda sent were somewhat puny! The Ford bolts went right in very easily, maybe cross-threaded?
