They protect the pinch weld and allow you to jack the car anywhere along the rail with ease. Well worth the price. IMO only get the full length type.

One of the best things ever for your s550. After I mounted them on my mustang it made the car feel even more ridged while driving. I have the steeda low profile.

100% worth it for the reasons mentioned. Love my BMR CJR002. They are full length and sit just a couple mm below the pinch weld, so they don't affect ground clearance in a significant way.

I have a 2015 a buddy of mine has a 2016. He has jacking rails I do not. GET THE JACKING RAILS. For the love of god if you do your own mechanic work. Get them. It makes life easier. If you don't get them and insist on doing your own work you need a swift kick in the nads. (unless you got a life then disregard). You will thank your self when you go to jack your ride up for anything.

Plus they offer protection going over large speed bumps a little too fast. I'd rather wack them first than something else.

One of the first mods i did on my car. Makes working on it so much easier. After many years of deal with SN95 cars and smashed in pinch welds i did this early to prevent that. Very happy with my Steeda lightweight jacking rails.

I have the Steeda rails and they work great for all maintenance work. One jack point and half the car goes up. Yes they do stiffen the chassis and you can feel it!

I do, lol! In a parking lot where a horrible accident happened while I was inside the building. Civilian and emergency vehicles were parked every which way and I was partially blocked in. I was parked right next to a curb and just decided to go for it hoping I had just enough room to make it around that corner. Wrong decision. THUD...SCRAPE!

I was cursing myself all the way home thinking I had damaged something badly. Nope...the rail was the only thing that took a hit. Definitely my favorite mod, at least on that day!
