It's not dumb if you ask, because you'll never know the answer...

No such thing as a dumb question.
Clearly you don't spend too much time on social media, I saw a late teen / early 20s girl questioning if we really needed gravity and she thought it was invented by Isaac Newton. I wish I was kidding and no she was not joking.

I spend more time on social media than I should. It's sad...... Very sad.

Kind of like asking why the sun shines during the day, when we can see perfectly well anyway, instead of rising at night, when its light would be more useful. 😁

Not knowing what Budapest is is perfectly understandable. But Europe being a country where they speak French is priceless. :cwl:

I have one my car has the 2500 RPM rattle so should I donate it to the Kidney Foundation so I can get a tax break from the donation? :)

I saw a couple dyno graphs from reputable places a few years ago showing that a borla atak 3 inch catback was worth 8-10 whp on Gen 3's...but who knows. I couldn't really tell a difference with just the catback.
Somehow I don't think my butt is calibrated well enough to notice an additional 8 hp on top of the 460 hp I have already.

Hell, I ask dumb questions all the time. It's my strategy to convince everyone here I'm not as smart as I look. Seems to be working...

No such thing as a dumb question. In our testing we have seen gains of 10-15hp on a catback. It is not going to be a huge gain but it is still a gain. The factory exhaust is very restrictive. In addition to the power and the weight you save by getting rid of the mid muffler you also get to hear the coyote in all its glory.

Corsa extremes are the bees knees and headers are icing on the cake, but for some reason my neighbors started talking to me less after I did it to my car(I leave early in the morning)....

If you are interested in getting an exhaust we are a dealer for corsa, borla, flowmaster and we can get pretty much anything. or if you'd like to discuss options give us a call! 313-561-5500

I have the Corsa Active Xtreme for several months now. I didn't notice any hp gains, though it's probably in the realm of 9-15hp. There is also the argument of reduced weight over stock, but you're not likely to notice any gains.

My car sounds absolutely amazing and puts a grin on my face every time. As others have mentioned, I feel absolutely horrible passing cars on the highway, lol. With the resonators closed, the Corsa actually sounds quieter than stock imo. In sport/track, it's Angry Chewbacca time!

My recommendation: keep the stock exhaust and just do a resonator delete. I went with Corsa b/c I had it on my CTS-V and I appreciate the unique exhaust notes, and I didn't want to cut my factory exhaust which I'll swap back when I sell the car.
