Is Performance Package worth it?

If I’d only use a Mustang for DD (daily driving) and commutes, should I get:

Is the Ecoboost Performance Package worth it if I’m just using the car for everyday usage and occasional road trips (no tracking)?

Pros: bigger brakes, bigger radiator, bigger rear sway bar, better front spring, boost and oil gauges.

Neutral: 19 inch wheels ( for me it's a pros but it cost more to buy 19 inch tires than 18 )
Spoiler (for me it's a cons but you can opt for the spoiler delete.

Cons: the 3.55 differencial will be less fuel efficient.

Must forgot some but I did it and in my head a Mustan with a Performance Package is a must and surely won't hit future sale value.

Yes, it is worth it. To buy a base and upgrade will cost more usually. It really is a good package Ford puts together. Cost of ownership does go up though, because tires and brake pads and parts cost more to replace. Up to the owner, but if you are buying a Mustang for performance then that is why you want the package. And to add, don't fear the gear. 3.55s are not bad at all, but on the ecoboost I don't have any experience. Depends on your highway mileage.

Cons: the 3.55 differencial will be less fuel efficient.
Pros: the 3.55 differential will be quicker

Yes it is less fuel efficient, but I prefer the acceleration difference over the fuel loss

I know about it, but the OP seems only DD and road trips. That's why I went with a Cons for him.

I test drove a non pp and bought a pp one without test driving, im glad I did, at least in 2016 it was a good bargain for what you get, not sure what they cost these days

Save the money. You do get a bargain for the parts you get but if you're not using them, why bother? Enjoy the car as a street car, nothing wrong with that.

There was two cars, same price range I chose the non PP. I preferred how it drove with manual. It felt nicer, not shifting as frequent and I get amazing mpg. People who want faster acceleration, I get it but 3.31 gearing with 6 speed is plenty fast enough, on a dd you don’t need anymore than that.

Mpg is a plus, cruising 70 at the lower rpm means quieter more comfortable ride. I don’t need PP and glad I didn’t get it myself.

In this case do you guys even recommend a convertible instead of a coupe if I’m just using the car for common everyday usage?

I’d be getting an automatic.

If that is something that will provide you value and an experience then of course. Personally I don't like verts usually because of the performance aspects. But I have a totally different application with my vehicle than you.

I think you have to decide what suits your needs/desires. I wanted a gt convertible and bought one with pp even though I will never go to the track. I like the look and the better brakes. Mine is an auto because it is quicker and I have a long commute. Drive both and decide what you would use.

Well do you guys think the higher quality/performance parts installed on the PP version make one’s everyday ride more enjoyable or more efficient. Aka is the better braking, handling, turning, suspension, etc. worth it even for everyday rides and daily commutes?

Stiffer = harsher ride for bumps and potholes.

I have a GT PP I DD. The better brakes are worth it. I prefer the firmer ride. The non-PP seemed floaty. It's really personal preference but IMO the PP makes it a more enjoyable car especially if you occasionally enjoy a twisty run somewhere.

So is the PP better with turns and handling?
