Is Performance Package worth it?

If I’d only use a Mustang for DD (daily driving) and commutes, should I get:

Definitely worth it. I drove a 2017 Ecoboost for a few days without the performance package while waiting for mine (2015 EB with the performance package) to have a little work done and it just didn't feel the same to me. It just feels more connected to the road and gets up and goes a little bit better, and I didn't honestly see a difference in fuel economy with roughly 40-45% city driving

In my opinion worth it. I have the PP2 and really would not consider getting another one without it. Even on the street there is a distinct difference in ride quality both normal and sport I imagine when I get it on the track the difference gap will increase dramatically. For those trying to price out making a base GT as good or better, don't forget the labor, even if you do it yourself. In my case I would estimate my labor to be about $100 an hour realistically (you would need to include sourcing the parts, prep and cleanup). My time with family/friends other activities is worth a lot to me and really only a few of my friends would want to spend their time working on a car. Your mileage may vary though, but there is a cost to the time it takes to install all those parts and some although not very hard take time. I have no doubt with the right combo of parts, you could make it outperform a PP1 or 2, but not sure the effort (or ride quality) is worth it unless it is a dedicated track car.

If you're only DDing the car the PP is a total waste of money. But if you even remotely suspect a tiny bit you might want to do some performance road course or even parking lot solo work with it then it is a super idea and will save you yards of cash down the road. The brakes alone are worth it, the torsen is a super bonus. Too bad you have to take all that lardy luxo junk with it now though, no more 300A PPs, sadly. Glad I got mine when I did.

You can get a PP with 300A, but you can't get Magneride without 301A.

My 19 gt premium coupe [ pp1, auto, active exhaust] is a hoot to drive, handling is awesome, ride quality is great as I have magnaride suspension upgrade.
It is worth every cent I paid for it and I don't need any add-ons for performance or handling. I use it every day and it will take me on my driving vacation for 4-5 thousand mile round trip
in a few weeks,.
I am averaging 20.6 mpg in mixed driving and 25!! on the road, long distance , I can not ask for anything better for such a spirited driving experience.
I have the same; throw on a Steeda H-pipe, you’ll love it. My DD and a 148 m round trip commute; couldn’t be happier
