For NA I love the 3.73's. Hate boring long gears. So much more being able to row through the gears. With boost though I see them hurting performance.
I do too! Sure, big HP boosted setups, they're a bit too steep, but with an NA setup: CAI, tune, LT's/exhaust and a GT350 IM and TB spinning up to 7600-7800RPM?

Yes please :headbang:

spare tire, or lack of needs to factor into the decision

Anything with a staggered setup, a spare tire is a pain in the ass to use anyway. I chucked the spare on my S2000's immediately because in order to use it on the back I had to pull off 3 wheels, screw that. Tow trucks are your friend.

Did the same in my S2000 as well.

Side note: it's an S2K circle jerk up in here (MaskedRacerX = former S2K owner)

I still miss my 04. I was a CO and Moderator on S2KI for 8 years before stepping down to just be a post whore.

The bottom line is that the people who don't buy PP cars fall into the following two categories;

1. They can't drive a manual or claim that they don't want to
2. They can't afford the PP

What's your name on there? Same as on here? Recognize the name I think. I'm a vendor and member on there for a long time now under same name as here.

Yeah same name except I had underscores between the words. I thought I recognized your name from somewhere. I was the gallery nazi that everybody hated :lol:
I still have 8 avg posts per day and I haven't posted on any regular basis in at least 4 if not 5 years.

I didn't order the PP on my '16 because I a) don't really care for the wheels and b) didn't care for the 3.73's either. Funny thing was the salesman called me back later in the day and told me I could upgrade to 3.73's for no extra charge but still not get the whole performance pack.

The tower brace, radiator, sway bars, springs and shocks are all available over the counter through Ford anyway. Why pay for things I don't want, when the parts I do want are available over the counter and I could put together cheaper than simply buying the whole package. In my case I didn't care for the wheels and gears, but over time I can save up and upgrade the handling of the car.

Same thing if I ever want to add the oil pressure/vacuum gauges. The wiring is there. All ECM's/BCM's are programmed to run them. I could add them in later if I really wanted.
