Seattle Checking In

I am 29 years old and live in Seattle, WA. I have owned 2 other mustang prior to my most recent purchase. First Mustang I owned was a 1995 Mustang GT and then a few years later after that I picked up a 2002 Mustang GT. After loving mustangs and owning these cars for quite some time I decided to check out the Euro side and purchased a 2008 BMW 335i about 3-4 years ago. Its was a beautiful car and quite fast, however I always felt it lacked a mystique of sorts, a soul if you will. No matter what I did to it I just wasn't happy with it.

Now After about 6 months of going back and forth and looking at different years of Mustangs I decided that the S550 for its future, forward facing looks and outstanding interior design. I picked up this 2015 Mustang GT Premium and I have to say I could not be any happier with my choice. Feels good to be back in a Mustang again.

I'm Doug and I'm new here too. I'm 45. Bought my first Mustang (an 89 Fox GT) back in 1989 when I was 19. Have a bunch of other Mustang or Mustang-related cars. My son as an 03 V6, I got an 89 convertible LX 5.0 for my Fiance, I have an 81 Fairmont Wagon (with SN95 underpinnings and a 351W) as well as a Shelby Cobra replica. My father even has an 88 Saleen. Here's a picture of my new one.

It's great to be back....

Well... It's back to the Mustang for me. Oxford white/ GT Premium, with 20 inch wheels. Previously.... had a 1988 LX 5.0 and a 2000 GT.
Most recent vehicles were: 2010 Camaro SS (L99) and a 2011 SS (LS3)/6speed.
Both Camaro's were nice, however, Ford came back with a winner!

Not many mods..... Upper strut bar, oil catch can and a Borla "S-Type" from the cats., back.

2015 Mustang GT Magnetic
Hi everyone, I live on eastern Long Island, NY and just got my first Mustang two weeks ago. 2015 GT Magnetic with 18" Foundry wheels, 300A. It is every bit as good as the reviews. Need to add tints and perhaps satellite radio. All of yours look great. Truly haven't seen a color I don't like yet in this model. Glad to be a part of the forum.

New to the forum and about to finalize an order on the GT350R this week. While I like all types of cars, I'm a huge ford fan with a 2005 Ford GT , 13' Roush Raptor and recently sold my Kirkham 427... Looking forward to spending time here

I'm Chris live in the Bay Area, just bought my first mustang 2 weeks ago. I'm very glad I bought a 2015 5.0 base Gt, coming from owning 2 audis which are my choice of car. Power doesn't even come close and sound!!.

2015 EB Base Mustang w/Auto, 2014 Focus ST
Hey everybody,

Been reading up on the new 6th gen mustang for a long time and I'm usually a Subaru guy (owned a WRX and and STI and considered a BRZ for a while).

Last year, I bought a 2014 Focus ST which was my first exposure to the ecoboost and I was quite happy. I drove the new WRX which was mechanically awesome but with equal length headers now, some of the classic character boxer engine rumble was missing. It was a very fast machine for sure but the interior quality was still stuck in typical Subaru fair even though it was a much nicer place to be than previous gens.

So I gave the ST a chance and bought it the same day. Ford had converted me. The ST S3 package with all options and amazing Recaros came out cheaper than what I'd pay for a limited WRX. Ford had done their job.

That brings me to the magnetic EB I bought a couple days ago! Ecoboost impressed me again. I went with the base EB since honestly, it was well equipped and still a fantastic interior. Miles and miles ahead of the BRZ even in base form. I will admit a couple things though.

1. The GT was glorious. If price was not a factor, I would own the sh** out of that GT :)
2. I went with an Auto trans. On purpose. I'm a manual guy. Learned to drive at 15 in my dad's old beater 84 Nissan pick up. This was a big shock to me and my wife but I honestly had a better time driving the auto in both EB and GT form. I think it was partly due to sitting position to operate the clutch. I have short legs and I'm only 5'7" so I had to move the seat pretty far forward making things feel cramped. The ST sitting position fits me much better. I could have gotten used to the manual and sitting position in the Mustang but the Auto was actually fun and I had the ST to scratch the manual itch so I bought my first auto transmission in many years. I must be getting old.
