Hello everyone. Picking up my 2015 GT premium 6M with performance pack on Monday. The wait is killing me. I started my life with cars like my old 55 Chevy, 65 T-Bird, 65 Ford Pickup. Moved on to the boy racer stuff in my 30's with some Impreza's that were used for track and rally. Hit 40 and moved to European cars with an Audi A5 and a 911. Sold the 911 to buy a bigger house and ended up in a Ford Fusion Energi. Life really slowed down at that point. Just sold that and decided its time to go back to my roots and get back into the good old American muscle. Drove the car yesterday and oh boy am I happy to be back to a real car. Can't wait to see where the Mustang takes me.

Hi All, Just picked up a new '21 black GT FB, 6sp on tuesday. Been a long time. My plan for the car is daily drive with some track days, I live about a half hr from Pocono raceway. I hae a lot planed for this car, chassis, susp, brake, and power upgrades. First mod is to shed weight...of the driver. Down 80lbs already, another 15-20 to go. Already ordered some chassis mods, strut, firewall brace, g-track brace, and rear chassis brace (steeda). Top is the new black GT, the fox body is my 87 triple white convertible I bought new 35yrs ago, wish I still had her.

Hi everyone, like PaulM1, I'm getting back into Mustangs after years of being away. I'm planning to buy a new GT Premium. My first Mustang was a Gulfstream Aqua 1968 coupe; wish I still had it. My last one was this 89 GT convertible:

Hey everyone!

New to the forum block, but picked up my 2021 Velocity Blue Mustang back in November. I've been around Fords my whole life with my dad being a Ford Mechanic for 30+ years. Grew up with the 40th Anniversary Edition Mustang as my background on my tube desktop monitor saying I'd own one one day, so needless to say excited to finally have a mustang of my own. Keeping it stock for now (shout out warranty), but have already started a parts list as soon as the odometer rolls over. Looking forward to meeting people!

Good evening!

Thanks for having me here. I've owned 8 mustangs in the past (a mix of Foxes, several new edge and an '06) I currently still have a 90k mile 93 LX Hatch that I just rebuilt the motor in, but it's not back on the road yet.

Just sold a 2006 GTO I'd had for a while and I've been wanting a newer fun evening/weekend car for a while and have not yet owned a Coyote motor, so figured it was time.

I've placed an order for a 22 GT/CS 6 speed in Atlas Blue, now just waiting for production

Evening!

I've been a lurker since late last year when I purchased my Mustang. Happy to finally join up!

I picked up a lightly used manual 2019 GT in Velocity Blue. Goodies include the PP1 package, Sync3, and Nickel-painted 5 spoke wheels.

I'm not a 'Ford guy', just happen to like the stuff they've been making for the past several years. I've owned a '14 Fiesta ST and '14 SHO. My other previous rides include a '90 E30 325i and lifted '01 Nissan Xterra. The Mustang and FiST are my favorites so far!

New member been lurking here for a while, but finally officially joined. Picked up a 2021 carbonized gray GT in early January right before the 0% for 60months ended. I was looking for slightly used, but couldn't pass up the 0% and full warranty.

Only mod so far is the oil separator, and ceramic window tint to block the UV. Loving the new mustang so far.

Hey everyone. Name's Ken. New to the forum. Just sold my 18 wrangler for a Mustang convertible, which I have wanted since I rode in my first 5.0 GT convertible in 1993 when I was in High School. Found a 2016 GT premium with performance package. 6 speed manual, 27k miles pretty loaded. Bought it from Vroom which had me a little nervous. They shipped it from CA to Chocago, then delivered it to me in NW Indiana. Have had it just over a week and absolutely love it. Feel like a kid again driving it! Will just be a fair weather local driver for me. Glad to be a part of the forum and super excited to FINALLY own a Mustang!!!!

Hi folks,

Here's my story. Moved to Houston, Texas a little over two years ago from Norway. Had already set my sights on a Mustang, as the CO2 and horsepower taxes on cars in Norway are insane. The result from that is that even your basic everyday family car is severely underpowered. And for a Mustang, forget it. A GT in Norway would set you back $174.000 or so. And then we haven't even gotten to the petrol cost.

So, Mustang it was. Found a beautiful 2019 GT Premium, with rear window louvres (nice in tx). Got an automatic, as at the time I thought this would be my daily commute car. Absolutely loved it, missed manual shift though (Still most common in Norway)

A year ago or so, with a new house, we found we needed a truck as well for hauling stuff. Our other car was on loan to a relative in Dallas at the time, so we went to the dealer to look at a Ram 1500. And, well, this is how it goes at these places, two hours later we drove home in a new Ram, sans Mustang, not being entirely clear on what had just happened. At the time it was, ok, this is the sensible way to go, we need the truck.

Love my Ram, but every day when driving it was; "I miss my Mustang, I miss my Mustang..."

So, long story short, order for a new racing red GT Premium 22 is in the system, build date 1st week of May. It's a manual now.
Got an understanding wife, so lucked out there as well. :-)

This time I intend to make it my own. Already lined up lots of mods and improvements I want to do. And, time to learn how to work cars on my own, so it will be hands on training as well. Tips on good stuff to add/do very welcome.

Greetings all! I’m 49 and haven’t owned a Mustang in quite a few years. I’m finally coming home :)

My first Mustang was an ā€˜86 LX 2.3 L. I was 19 at the time and got it used.

Some years later, I got my first GT, a ā€˜96 model also bought second-hand. I’ve never been an enthusiast or someone who knows about modding cars but I think the previous owner had done some things. This car was lightning and I called it the purple people eater.

My last Mustang was a 2001 GT which wasn’t quite as fast as the previous one but I loved the body style and color. Unfortunately, the only pic I have is post-accident. I got side-swiped by a semi while sitting at a red light.

And that brings me to now. I’m excited to be picking up a 2017 Ecoboost Premium Convertible on Friday! I know it’s not a GT, but I honestly can’t afford the gas and I’m beyond needing a car with that much power. It will be my daily driver and I’ll average 80 miles per day during the week. I’ve also wanted to own a convertible at least once in my life so here we are! It is an automatic and includes the Group 201A package. Beautiful car with a little over 62k miles. Can’t wait!
