Hi, I have my second Mustang! A 2020 Ecoboost Premium convertible, HPP, manual, Kona Blue. A 64th birthday present to myself.
Mustang-3.jpg

All good so far. PPF and Rokblox are done, wind deflector is in. Not planning any performance mods.
My previous Mustang was 33 years ago... (ex-wife's image removed since I don't have her consent).

Hey all,

Picked up my first Mustang (in fact first Ford) last month - a '20 GT in Magnetic Grey. It's replaced a Jag XKR which got in a tangle with a deer and I'm now of an age where boot/trunk space is important to me. That and a thoroughly enjoyable mid-life crisis meant the Mustang was high up the list.

Now just deciding what stripes to put on it. Because Mustang.

Hi all

This is my first Mustang, a 2016 GT convertible. Over the last ten years I have owned and now sold 3 Lotus, a 2003 Elise, a 1967 Elan coupé and 1968 Type 51A formula Ford and this month just parted with a 2007 Elfin Type 3 Clubman and a 2011 Morgan 4/4 so we can have something a bit more comfortable.

I’ve always wanted a muscle car and have always loved big US cars, whereas my wife has never liked them. We took a convertible Ecotech Mustang for a test drive and both loved it, I could not believe how well that four cylinder car goes, amazing, but I really wanted a V8, so she let me have the V8 too, I’m on a winner 😄👍🏻🏁🍾

I love everything about it and am really looking forward to summer when we get better weather here in Tasmania.

Looking forward to chatting too and learning from you all.

Cheers John

Hello!
Soon to be 29 year old from Australia.
First mustang and first ever new car. 2021 Mustang GT. Manual. Aussie specs are basically a blend of the US premium and performance pack. This one I ordered with magneride, painted black mirrors and hood vents with black badge kit and MP concepts rear deck lid.
I have ceramic coated the car and done an interior detail. I also got a local shop to make an aluminium x-pipe for the active exhaust.
Next I’m thinking red Brake caliber paint with black brembo sticker. I have a line on some P51 wheels for a stupidly low price but I’m concerned after seeing the “cracked wheels” thread.

Hi All,

Placed my deposit on this MY20 GT here in the UK in Grabber Lime and looking forwards to my first ownership of a Mustang. I usually hire one for my trips to the USA so not now to the car but certainly looking forwards to having one to tinker with!

Loads of great info on this forum and I can see it will take me many minutes to read through! Of course, obligatory picture below... :sunglasses:

Hey all...

Got a 10 speed base GT Premium+ with active valve performance exhaust (also black accent package, though all that will be left of that is the black roof once the mods are in)... B&O audio system.

Right now the only part that is near done is the rear... thus the only picture.

So I'll try to quickly list the mods I've installed:
- Cold air intake, strut brace, catch can
- Carbon fiber diffuser, side-rockers, rear-light bezels, license surround, and trunk lid
- Interior carbon fiber pretty much everywhere, carbon fiber steering wheel and a-pillars (also upgraded the tweeters, which came with two different kinds oddly enough)
- 275s, Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, square setup, & forged rims (gigantic difference from stock tires)
- Upgraded headlights (replaced LED boards and added a halo) [this is going to be upgraded again, but w 2 halos and a demon eye)
- Replaced reverse light and rear side markers
- Tint in various places
- Front-splitter

Next up a carbon fiber hood and rear splashguards, just received the hood.

And still a lot more to do after that - will upgrade the brakes and rotors, stop-the-hop kit, upgrade swaybars, will probably do bags, more audio upgrades, backseat delete, clenched flares & larger rear tires, and, eventually, a supercharger and gt500 bumper... still leaving a lot out but those are the major parts I plan on.

In my opinion, that is 100% the most perfect stance I’ve ever seen on a 550.
Please tell me you’re on Steeda track springs, with -3.0 camber, and the 25/30 spacer combo!?
I’m doing new wheels, but I think the 19x10 Apex’s I need are slim pickens.
Your setup looks killer, nice work!

I put 1" (25mm) spacers on our convertible S550 GT. We have the "Black out" option package with stock 19" wheels. I like the way they look but wish they were a 1/2" wider and/or less backspace. The spacer works fine on the front but maybe just a little bit too much on the back so I removed the rear. Now the stance is almost square vs. staggered look. The pictures are when both front and rear were still installed. Now my rear looks like the Ollymids.

Hi Buddy,

Sorry for my late reply. It has 25mm spacers all round and Eibach (20/15mm from memory) springs.

I agree, I think the stance is 100%!

Some other photos for you... :sunglasses:

The Eibachs, they go a tad lower than the Steeda’s I have on order I think. That’s why. Love it! Nice work. :-)

Hi,
I am brand new around here and am learning more about the Mustangs as I read.
I had a 1971 Mach one with the Cleveland 351 many years ago. I decided recently to get myself a Mustang 5.0 manual. And Low and behold there is a brand new Mach 1 shipping to my local Dealer.
I failed miserably and secured the car and take delivery in November according to them.
It has the Appearance package. Handling pack with the Tremec. Equipment group 700A and the Elite package. I have never had a V8 with a manual. They all were automatics! anyway I am super pumped and hope everything goes smoothly!
Thanks for all the great information I have learned here recently.
