  1. Free Diamondbrite coating worth it?

I had a pretty dissatisfactory experience at my last dealer service and to "put things right" (let's face it, to get a decent post-service survey score) was offered a free valet and "covering the cost of anything else over and above of the service at your next visit" (I'm betting they don't mean...
  2. Outdoor Car Cover

I got one from Specialised Covers. Not cheap but they are cut to fit the car and the material is very good. I had one on my XKR before the Mustang so you could say I'm a repeat customer.
  3. Free for collection - Ford Mustang rubber front and rear matts plus rubber boot liner

I'm not near Lichfield unfortunately but I do know the trunk mats go for decent money on eBay (because I was in the market for one a few months ago). Understand if you can't be dealing with the hassle though.
  4. Dash plaque question?

My emblem fell off on a sunny day! So try some heat first to soften the glue and then ease out with a trim tool or fishing line maybe.
  5. SYNC 4 upgrade on a 21 401A

I don't know about sync4 (but I don't think it's possible) but you could look into aawireless (https://www.aawireless.io/). It can play a bit funny with certain phones but I have one in the UK and it works ok (apart from a bug in my sh1tty Xiaomi phone which causes intermittent disconnections 😠)
  6. Remote Control Mach1 in Argos

You should see it's turning circle!

  8. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

My Mustang tends to avoid supermarket car parks as much as possible. My boot tends to contain golf clubs and trolley 90% of the time. In fact I took them to the test drive because it was a prerequisite that they fit!
  9. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

Too tight to buy that thin trunk liner from Ford so made my own from foam mats from Aldi. Time will tell whether it was time wasted! The irony is that the "carpet" in the boot is barely worth protecting!
  10. Car condom

I've got an outdoor one from specialisedcovers.com. Had one for my XKR before this too. They're not cheap but top quality and tailored for each specific car model. Not had an indoor one so can't speak specifically for that.
  11. My Pipes!

Funnily enough, yesterday I cleaned my (2020 GT) exhausts for the first time since autumn (my cars is parked outside unfortunately) and noticed they were covered in bumpy warts while rubbing them which I'm sure weren't there last year. As you say, they look ok from afar but it is frustrating...
  12. New Mustang Owner

Regarding the boot, half close the lid and peer inside to make sure the electrical cable isn't getting trapped between the rubber seals which I guess could cause water ingress. If it is, just reach in and alter its path with your hand. Doing this a few times seems to teach the cable a new route...
  13. The UK S550 "spotted" thread

Ok, so technically not an S550 spotted but I'm only a month into S550 ownership and came back to find this beauty parked next to my magnetic grey today (which has got to be pretty unusual in the UK?!)....made my day anyway...
  14. Overlapping spoilers

Please do post back to let us know how it is. I'm in the market for a spoiler too so would be interested to know if it's any good.
  15. Android Auto wireless

I'm potentially interested in one of these so good it works well in the Mustang. Can you give some idea how long it takes to connect/display once the car is fired up? I guess it relies on the speed of the phone to some extent but interesting information nonetheless.
  16. Grabber Lime 2020 GT Build Thread

You prompted me to examine mine and apart from being full of grit, as you mentioned, I'm not even sure my passenger side one is attached with screws or bolts - it pivots - so might be only held on with the sticky tape you describe! How that feeble piece of plastic can serve any purpose as a...
  17. Introduce yourself!!

Hey all, Picked up my first Mustang (in fact first Ford) last month - a '20 GT in Magnetic Grey. It's replaced a Jag XKR which got in a tangle with a deer and I'm now of an age where boot/trunk space is important to me. That and a thoroughly enjoyable mid-life crisis meant the Mustang was high...
