Hello, all!

My name is Scott Holub, and I live in Hiawatha, Iowa. Last December I traded my Dark Candy Apple Red 2008 Mustang V6 Premium Convertible for a used Lightning Blue 2018 Ecoboost Premium Plus Coupe.

Like the 2018 so much more than the 2008. The digital dash, Sync 3, and the independent suspension are great. Drove to St. Louis a couple weeks ago after installing new K&N engine and cabin air filters. My round trip mileage running 70-80 MPH (with a 5-20 MPH tail wind) was 36.8 MPG. The miles per gallon are great and the smiles per gallon are even better.

I normally don't care for yellow cars or stripes but your Mustang looks great with both.

Thanks! I was highly considering removing these 'partial' stripes to:
a- do a black roof
b- do full car stripes w/o black roof
c- do full car stripes with black roof

I think the black roof with stripe delete looks the best, but it's the most common option in the street, and I'd like to 'stand out' from the crowd. However, full body stripes (bumper to bumper) don't go well with too many cars, and mustangs are on the privileged list of select cars that do look good with 'go-faster stripes', and it does look amazing on a Triple Yellow. Having said that, I think the full stripes + black roof MIGHT be a little bit too much black (I could always get Triple yellow hood vents and it would look better, but I do like the black ones)...

Previously, I owned '79 and '07 GTs. I have said a million times, "Man, I miss my Mustang" ever since turning in my '07. We decided to trade in our Escape and go with the '18. She is currently stock. Since we purchased her instead of leasing, I hope to have many years modifying her and enjoying the ride! Nice to be here and meeting everyone!

Hello from South Carolina. I am a 50 year old that is going through a midlife crisis and just bought a 2019 GT premium performance package. I look forward to talking to you all and learning a lot about these cars and how to work on them myself. I come from a background of old cars most recently a 1972 Mustang Mach 1. I am no stranger to wrenching although I got tired of doing it on the old rusty stuff.

Everyone at work asked me, "Are you going thru a midlife crisis?" and I replied, "No, I'm not at midlife yet." They said, "So, then, are you going thru a crisis?"

Was a lurker here for a few years, some life circumstance fouled my plans on occasions. Pulled the trigger two months ago. 401A, Active Exhuast, PP1, A10 and B&O. Super fun car, great DD actuallly, averaging 24MPG. Really happy with it. Not sure about mods, I tend to just drive them.

I just traded up, some may disagree though. I traded my 2017 F150 Lariat Ultimate edition (3.5 Ecoboost) with 16800 miles on it for a 2018 Mustang GT with 9300. Electric Blue, almost all the accessories you can get and a 6 speed. I liked the 10 speed in the truck but I cant go without a car that has a manual. Ill get a picture posted when I have a minute ;)

Hi guys,
I am new to this forum. Been following threads on this forum and dream of owning v8 gt mustang, which is finally getting materialised. I drive Audi A5 sportback black edition, which I enjoyed but would be getting PXd for Mustang. I have made up my mind on Need for Green 2019 (custom pack2, auto gear box, rear spoiler) on ford credit (pcp). I need some help as well. At the moment talking to ford Doncaster and think ford in Guildford. Ford Guildford is offering it for £48352, £8k dep, £685 x38, residual value - £21545. This is including gap insurance and lifeshine protection (free). Car is available at the moment with them.
Need some pointers if this is good deal or not?
