I'm from Bloemfontein, South Africa. That is right in the middle of SA. I LOVE Mustangs and Ford. We are also getting the new 2015 Mustang around Oct/Nov 2015. Can't wait! :hail:
Welcome! Are you going to purchase one? If so, what are you going to get?

Hi Everyone! I posted this in my own thread and someone pointed me to this one, so I'm posting again!

I'm Australian, 32, a .NET programmer. Loved Mustangs since high-school, 1969 Sportsroof is / was my dream car. With the 2015 redesign / global release that changed somewhat!

I've been lurking around the forum for a while, thought it'd be time to start contributing.

I'm a little disappointed with recent news (recent to me at least) about the Euro model (which I assume would be the international model - I doubt Australia will get anything different to the European version). The mirrors BLEH and the tail-lights - also bleh, and as people have pointed out in the spy thread with the clear tails, a lot of what the mustang is about is those three, red bar lights.

Anyways, enough of me prattling on, good to see everyone is pretty reasonable here, there don't seem to be any jerks around!

Cheers!

Brad

Hi Tony, Yes I'm going to buy one. The V8 GT PP in Race red
Race red, in my opinion, looks great with the lines of this car. Best of luck in the "journey" to get one. We are all waiting :)

Hello Everyone,

New to the forum, never owned a mustang, always admired from a far as getting a LHD car always seemed a bit impracticable to me living in the UK.

Currently drive a Mitsubishi ASX,
previously owned (not in any order): Nissan Juke, Landrover, Saab, Alfa Romeo, Isuzu, BMW, Vauxhall Calibra/Cavalier/Frontera, Ford Fiesta.

Welcome Andy from a fellow Brit :)

Seems quite a few have been put off by LHD.......you really shouldn't let it bother you, but I'll admit I had the same concerns before buying mine, and was initially looking at a Monaro.

But Mustangs get under your skin and become a way of life.......you'll love it when you get it :)

Hi TT, I have to swipe a pass from my RHD driver side window to get into and out of work each day, so living with a LHD would be a nightmare for me :-(

Name is Joe. I specialize in Merkurs. I'm very excited about the 6G Ecoboost as I see it as a spiritual decendent of the XR4Ti. I've never been one for buying a new car but I might have to make an exception for a Gaurd Ecoboost 6spd Performance pkg with Recaros. 30 years ago, my beloved Merkurs had a 4 cyl turbo, manual trans, all independent suspension, and Recaros. Here we go again.

Welcome aboard Joe! I'm looking to get the same mustang, minus the recaros. And hopefully minus the supposed black wheels :barf: of the PP.

Hey guys, I'm Mitch from just outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Life long Mustang owner/restorer.

I currently have a 1990 triple black GT convertible that I drive and 3 restoration projects now, a 64-1/2 260 convertible, a 66 289 coupe and a 75 Mustang II 302 Ghia coupe. It's really cool that I will have a year one car, a 25th year car and a 50th car!

Daily driver is a 2001 F-150 screw Lariat.

Sold my 2012 F150 to make room for the 2015 GT fastback I ordered!

newbe!

Hi All..
New member and one that placed my order for my 2015 Eco Boost.
Having had some power cars in the past...5 kids out of the house...it was time to find that "sports car spark" once again. Been watching the Mustang over the past 6 months getting pumped about what I was seeing.

Placed my order pretty much in the dark except for the great work you all have done here, on May 28th. Don't know when I'll see it but I'm really looking forward to my new baby!

Fun sharing all this with a great bunch!

Grettings all,

I'm Eric from West Palm Beach, FL. I've been a Mustang fan for years but have never owned one. I was ready to bite the bullet around December but then the 2015 was announced. Obviously I delayed the purchase in favor of the new design. Planning on getting a Magnetic Ecoboost with a few goodies.

I'd like to thank everyone on here for the information available helping my decision making process easier.

Cheers! :D

Hello everyone,

My name is Rick, and I'm in western NY state. I'm a late '30s automotive engineer for a drivetrain component supplier and a long time Ford-guy from a long-running Ford family. Mustang convertibles are sort of common in my family; my father has a '66 and my sister has a 2012. My current car is a 1999 35th anniversary LE convertible, a 5-speed car, with 90K miles.

I've been lurking here for a while and trying to keep current with S550 development (I even read all 60+ pages of the Steeda weight controversy). I decided to sign up so I can occasionally chime in to topics that are close to home, and also because I'm yet another guy with plans to order an S550 when ready. In my case, however, that won't be for another year or so. I plan to order a '16 when the order banks change over next summer.
