Hello everyone. Im new to the forum (obviously) and the 2015 Mustang will be my first ever Mustang that I buy. However that does not mean that I am new to Mustangs. I have loved Mustangs since I was a child back in the 90's. In 2000 my dad bought his first Mustang. A 1996 Mystic Cobra. From that day forth I was a loyal fan. But sadly he sold it 6 months later. Finally 6 months after the other car he bought a 1998 Cobra, Chrome yellow, convertable, and with clothe interior (1 of 5 ever built) in 2001. He quickly put a roll bar in it, and on my 13th birthday March 24, 2001 we did our first track day at Road Atlanta with SCMC. Some of ya'll here may have known his car if you where into trackdays in 2001-2002. His car became quite popular over the two years with a full Griggs Racing GR40 suspension kit and no roof passing Ferraris, ZO6's, and finally going back and forth with a 911 Cup car at Road Atlanta until the car met its demise towards the end of the day with a wall on the front straight. Ever since then I have wanted a Mustang but I never could afford the one I wanted. And since I dont like settling for less when it comes to Mustangs I have never had one. I am ready to go from a fan to an enthusiast. And the 2015 Mustang GT Tripple Yellow with Track Pack, and Recaro seats is whats gonna take me to the next level. I look forward to meeting you all and hearing more info on the GT.

Hi everyone,

My name is Anthony and I am looking forward to purchasing a new 15 in November/ December 2014. I'd like to hold out for the convertible. I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima out of college (6 years ago) and I am looking forward to stepping it up a bit with a new Mustang. In Miami, we spend a lot of time in our cars so I think this would be a great way to enjoy my commute a little bit more. These threads are amazing. Thanks for all the great information! I'm learning a lot and hope to have a better idea of what I actually want by the time I purchase my new Mustang. Right now I'm hoping for an EB engine, convertible in the guard finish (if available).

Thanks,

Anthony

burntire checking in. Going to get a new 2015 with a goal of pushing it deep into the 9's. Last car was a 9 second White 04 Cobra. 2015 will probably be white as that is a fast color.

Checking in from Middle Tennessee. I joined to learn what I can about the 6th Gen from you fine folks and maybe pass along some wisdom from time-to-time. To show that "wisdom" improves with age...my first new car was a 1965 Mustang convertible, 289 4V, Wimbledon White with white top and black interior...I had to sell it when I reported to my first duty station (U.S. Air Force) in 1969. Of course, I wish I had found a way to have kept that one...

East Tennessee, here.

Currently on my 5th Mustang. Found it at a CarMax of all places - perfect color, a ragtop; and when I found out there was a stock Mach 1000 stereo in it, I had to have it. Seven years later, it still has only 47K on it. Not much in the way of mods either, CAI, HID's and chrome striping.

I never really got into any of the S197's. So I'm really glad to see how good looking the S550 is. Can't wait to see the DIB vert.

Hey everyone! I'm Justin from New Orleans. Currently on my 2nd Mustang.
12 GT premium, Nav, 401A, 18s. Boss 302 H pipe and a muffler delete are the only mods.
Previous car (now my brothers) was an 07 Alloy GT Auto.

Hopefully my 12 will be paid off by this time next year and I might be trading up for a 15 GT PP Recaro in Comp Orange.

Looking forward to being on here. I am also on TMS same name.

Hello from Ontario

Hello all, Mark here and working on Mustang #2. I'm a car guy forever and have had just about everything (reasonably priced of course). My passion is BMW and I've had many of them but in 2005 my love for Mustangs took over and I was one of the first to order a new GT - and due to my retro age it had to be Legend Lime to match the equivalent colour on a Galaxie 500 that my dad had in the 60's. Anyways....many, many mods later including a Roushcharger I drove it for 3 years and had a blast. Back in those days, a little heavy and unbalanced for HPDE tracking which I do once a year so I sold it and went back to BMW. Fast forward to the past few years at Watkins Glen (I run with Phoenix CMR, they are Ford guys through and through) and watching as the Boss 302's somewhat ruled, I started getting the Mustang itch again. And I really missed my old SVTOA club members who were there last time and made me feel like I never left. These guys and girls are so down to earth vs some of the "other brand" car guys.

So blah, blah, blah and I've been reading all of the forums religiously for months, including The Mustang Source that I was with for years. This forum, mustang6g, is by far the best with some very insightful members posting the most accurate and informed info....so I joined up here, hope you all don't mind.

I am currently in line at Spot #1 for a 50th A/T in WW at the best Ford dealership in the greater GTA. We'll see how things pan out (price wise) in the next few weeks. I'm a realist so if things don't work out (i.e. someone comes along and offers the owner a gazillion $$ over list) I won't be offended and will order one to spec. It'll be Ingot, jammed including Recaros and a 6mt so's I can have the PP. I love the retro cues on the LE but again, I'm a realist and will quite happily take the alternative. Or a GT350. Lol.
