I just joined the club on 3/26/16 - Have since spent countless hours sifting through the wealth of information here. I have listened to every aftermarket exhaust available for it, yet still cant decide. At the moment it is between Magnaflow Competition cats and Borla S-type cats. :headbonk:

CORSAS are really mean..just installed my axleback sport after driving on 3 inch flowmaster for 7 months..

I already had xpipe and the sound is incredible..it really is good for a daily driver as well no drone and easy bolt on install..

Just registered but I've had my Mustang V6 for about a month now. Been really enjoying driving around. I got my Mustang in a lovely shade of competition orange.

This S550 is my 5th Mustang, but I have not had
one for 20 years. Previous Mustangs, 65, 84.5, 89 and 92.

Been lurking for a few months and decided to join the other day.

Welcome! What options/packages are you looking into?

Premium for sure because I want brown leather or red leather seats. As far as other options I'm not really picky about it as long as it has the performance package. IE: brembo brakes, and whatever else comes with it. It'll be a 6MT. I do plan on procharging it safely with a modest boost and necessary steeda IRS enhancements to go along with it. I'm 34 now so I don't care to drag race like I was in my 20's so drag suspension and proper setup is unnecessary for me. I just want the car to decently handle and take off like a bat out of hell. It won't see any track time as well..

Forgot to mention I used to own a 2002 GT 5spd so I'm familiar with mustangs and drag racing, but i'm completely new to the S197's and S550's.

Are the Getrag(SP?) transmissions any good? I know fords trannys usually suck unless they use the T-56's (03-04 cobras/GT350). My tremec 3650 took a shit few miles out of warranty and never trusted ford trannys ever since then.
