Hey folks, been lurking a while, but figured I'd come out of the shadows.

Long-time car enthusiasts, builder, racer, but first-time Ford owner. (Ahem, Corvettes, Camaros, a few imports, etc.)

I've had my 2016 GT-P PP since November, and could not be happier. What an amazing ride, I just can't stop driving the damn thing, such a sweet piece of machinery. My first trip to the Ford dealer I felt like I was behind enemy lines, but after my first test-drive, it was all over, I was hooked.

Hey guys,

I'm new, planning to order a 16 GT/CS Coupe in Guard. I was going over the basics with the dealer today and I'll be confirming my order tomorrow.

Edit: Ended up going with 401A, Spoiler Delete, 18" Foundry and Premier Trim instead of California Special. After getting to see it in person, I thought it was a little to gaudy for me.

Hello all. Just joined and have been reading up doing research on the new GT's. I have always had muscle cars (and several mustangs) but have been in a 2012 Challenger SRT the last few years and am getting the itch for a change. I am very impressed with all of the positive comments and reviews on here and it is making the choice to switch very tempting!

Whats up fellas (and ladies)!?

Just joined because I have the itch for a RWD sports car again. I currently own a 2015 Focus ST. I had a mazdaspeed 3 before that, and I'm just not sure that the hot hatch does it for me anymore. I'm also currently deployed so I don't have much better to do than browse the net and watch my bankroll grow .

Anyways, I was looking a couple of days ago and I saw a Comp. Orange base GT with the PP and the black roof option about an hour away back home. It's the exact car I built online, and low and behold there it is! So....I may inquire about putting a deposit on it to hold, or having them order one for me for when I get back.

Am I crazy for flipping to a 2016 mustang from such a new Focus?
Has anyone made that switch before, or a similar one (hot hatch to 6g stang)?

This will likely be the last car I purchase, as I can see this being my baby for the next 30 years, and then being worth a penny or two. The focus really just feels like an exciting DD as a stop gap until I decide what I can settle on....


Appreciate any feedback you guys might have.

I'm back! Had a 2015 GT for about 6 months, but traded out of it (wasn't practical at the time). After a 10 month hiatus, I picked up my 2016 Ecoboost last weekend. Very excited to be back and part of the Mustang community again!

Howdy. New 2016 GT Premium (PP) owner here. Had the car about two months. Should get the first round of cosmetic mods in next week and in another month or so start on the performance stuff. Wanted to get a feel for the Mustang so I'd have a better idea of what I'd want to swap.

Hey guys, new member here from Houston, TX. Just picked up a 2016 GT w/ Performance Pack this morning in white. Bought the car mostly for the purpose of using it as a "fun" track car (road racing, MSR, COTA, etc...) It won't be brought to a full racing spec (fire suppression, etc...) as I still want to occasionally drive it on the street too, hence "fun" car. Going to be looking to purchase some 18s soon so I can swap out the 19 street tires for slicks when I'm on the track. The factory Recaro seats are pretty nice, not sure if they'll work out long term but they're good.

Hello everyone!

I joined 2.5 weeks back when I purchased my first ever 2016 Oxford White Mustang (Ecoboost Premium with accent trim color-red). Beautiful ride with awesome cornering at intersections. Before this I had a Chevy Blazer, before that a WRX (high flow catted system with Cobb), Montero Sport, BMW 310i, & Ford Escort. I wonder how long I'll be on this one. But so far so good. I've just finished Diode Dynamics interior LED lights upgrade and switchback amber delete signal lights (Awesome by the way!). I promised myself not to do too much for now (I need to focus on paying off the lease) But my last project before getting down and outright owning the Stang, would be tinting it and get the roof black wrapped with vinyl wrapping.
