As long as you put it somewhere before the maf so that metered air isn't escaping you should be fine.

Sounds like you need to lose the cats and turn off cat protection. It dumps fuel to cool down the cats since a rich mixture will be able to cool a lot better than a leaner mixture. In fact you'd have to go super lean for there to be enough air to cool down the exhaust.

Wow 15s are real small and you'd have to have a ton of sidwall. I'm running 18x11s. I'm amazed 15s clear even the regular base brakes.
