Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself to all the members here. My name's David and I live in the Czech Republic. I currently drive a Ford Focus Ecoboost and have a Ruby Red 2015 Ecoboost Mustang on order.

Here's my current car, it's nothing very special, but I love it nevertheless and will keep it.

Hello all,

I've been lurking on this forum for the past month or two while I made up my mind on what new car I wanted to buy. After much deliberating, I was down to a FRS/BRZ (my long-term choice for the past couple of years,) and this new-fangled Mustang thing (which I first saw in concept form at the Philly auto show last year, which definitely got my attention.) Well, a test drive was had last weekend, and this is what I drove home last night (in the snow, no less!)

Previous to this I have been driving around a 2006 Scion tC for nearly the past 10 years (bought it in early 2005.) For a time I was into showing it and did some mods, but as the years passed and the miles amassed it has been mostly reverted to stock. It still runs great, but at 176k, even with it being a Toyota it has started to have a few issues here and there, and I decided it was finally time to add a second car. I've only been talking about a new car for years!

Overall I obviously have a love for the imports, as well as domestics. Other cars in the running over the past few years have included the Camaro, WRX, and 370z. I grew up with a bunch of influence from my dad who is a pretty serious Chevy guy (and who has a badass '71 Chevelle.) He has forgiven me for buying a ford :D This is my first Mustang, but not my first Ford. That unfortunately dubious honor went to a late 90's Taurus which was my at the time wife's car. I'll be gentle in saying that it was junk, or maybe we just got a serious lemon. Thankfully it seems the brand quality has vastly improved since then!

The plan for now is to see how the aftermarket shakes out over the next year or so (and how I feel about the car by then.) I'm already very impressed with what has been done...which is largely why I'm here and a shiny new toy is in my driveway  I'm sure the modding bug will bite me again eventually...

Hey guys, I just picked up my Oxford White GT w/PP this evening and I absolutely love it. I've been in the German car scene the past 4 years and this is my first Mustang. Wish I would've joined sooner! I'll post a few pictures tomorrow :)

I like your Focus. I test drove one a while back. Very nice, responsive little car! Welcome, Smidra. I look forward to visiting Prague some day. I hear good things about it. :)

GREAT intro, Chaos Being! Your car looks GREAT and I'm very happy to see that you didn't let the snow keep you from claiming your very own pony car. Best of luck with it. I'm sure you'll find this car to be an aftermarket sweetheart!

Drive carefully!

Howdy from Dallas.
'15 GTP 5.0 Magnetic replaced a '13 GTP 5.0 Deep Impact Blue. Previous 'Stang was an '03 Mach-1 in Azure Blue.
Only had it a couple of weeks - has Airaid CAI installed and Magnaflow Competition cat-back on the way.

Never have really gotten involved with any 'Stang groups or meets but would like to - if you're in DFW, ping me and let me know!

Hello all. I have been reading through this forum on a daily basis for quite some time now and enjoy all of the information and banter. Dabbling in performance through the years, my ownership highlights include two Fox body Mustangs (one equipped with nitrous amongst various other mods), a 2003 M3 and a 2008 Grand Cherokee SRT8. I currently drive a very commute friendly 2012 Ford Focus which I love, but deep down wish had rear wheel drive and 400+ horsepower. Coincidentally, that puts my wish happily in Mustang territory! I am looking forward to joining the discussion.

Hi

Hi, my name Ron Avery I am 57 and from Oxnard California. I'm a lifelong car enthusiasts. In the past I have owned two other Mustangs. A 1986 SVO, and a 2000 GT. I have also owned many other cars throughout my life a listing for you as follows,
1 1973 Datsun 1200 ( 4 speed,first car)
2. 1974 Triumph Spitfire ( 4 speed)
3. 1974 Mazda RX-3 ( 4 speed)
4. 1976 Ford Capri 2 ( 4 speed)
5. 1980 Mazda RX-7 ( 5 speed)
6. 1983 Pontiac Trans Am (5 speed)
7. 1984 Volkswagen Scirocco ( 5 speed)
8. 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE ( 5 speed)
9. 1986 Mustang SVO ( 5 speed)
10. 1986 Alfa Romeo GT V6 ( 5 speed)
11.1974 Alfa Romeo spider ( 5 speed, first collector car )
12. 1992 Alfa Rome 164 S ( 5 speed)
13. 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV ( 5 speed, second collector car )
14. 1972 Alfa Rome Montreal (5 speed, third collector car , I guess I like Alfa's )
15. 1994 Alfa Romeo Spider ( 5 speed)
16. 1999 Mercedes SLK ( 5 speed )
17. 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS ( 5 speed,collector car )
18. 2000 Mustang GT ( 5 speed)
19. 2004 Infiniti coupe ( 6 speed )
20. 2003 Maserati coupe ( 6 speed , this one was a big mistake)
21. 2005 Lotus Elise ( 6 speed,just gave it to my daughter )
22. 2010 Mini JCW ( My DD ) ( 6 speed)
23. 2011 Lotus Evora 2+0 ( 6 speed,now for sale, I still own the cars # 23,24,25,27)
24. 2007 Aston Martin Vantage ( 6 speed )
25. 1965 Jaguar E-Type coupe ( was a 4 speed now a 5 speed,collector car )
26. 2015 Mustang GT ( on order 6 speed )
27. 2014 Ford Fiesat ST ( 6 speed,my DD now for sale )
28. 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible ( I forgot this one, it is my wife's car. It is just finishing the restoration)

I've never listed all the cars out before holy crap that's a lot of cars.
The 2015 Mustang will become my DD and replace my Fiesta and Lotus Evora.
I don't want this to sound trite but I needed to cut down the amount of cars I have.
So on Monday I test drove an eco-boost Mustang and the GT and decided to order the GT at Galpin Ford.
These are The specs
GT Premium
Magnetic paint with Red line interior with Recaro leather sport seats.
Package 401 A
GT Performance package
Voice-activated navigation
I thinking if either adding the Ford racing cat back exhaust for the Magnaflow cat back exhaust.
What do you guys think between the two exhaust systems the Ford exhaust would be there sport which is better for the street. I already have the Magnaflow on the Fiesta and I'm very happy with it.
I do need to say that I was incredibly impressed with the Mustang GT with a six speed and the performance pack that I drove. I think it'll be a great addition. I will miss my Fiesta though.
