Hello everyone. I'm going to be ordering a 2016 GT PP in the next coming months and decided to join the forum after lurking a bit.

I had my sights on BMW 435i but just couldn't justify the cost compared to what you get with the new mustang. Plus, I like to modify and work on my cars and the Mustang is a great candidate for that. Besides, I've been a Ford man all my life!

Greetings fellow Mustang fans... I bought a red 2015 Ecoboost last week and found out it gives you rock star status with teenage girls. Not sure how I feel about that. I've had maybe 10 Mustangs over the years including a 66 GT, 84 GT, 88 GT several LX 5.0's and a few others. Never had a SVO but the Ecoboost sort of fills that slot.

Just picked up my 2016 gt pp base in magnetic gray last weekend. Im not usually a mustang guy (ive owned a few miatas, evo's, 300zx tt etc), but ever since the 15's came out i knew i had to have one.

I work as a transportation designer so the biggest attraction to the new mustang wss the exterior design. Its very rare that i like almost evrything about a design, but this car is so well executed that it was a no brainer. Since I knew that it was easy to get one at invoice price it made financial sense too.

I knew i wanted a base model gt with the performance pack, but i was really on the fence about the recaro's...ive had them in a few cars(oem and aftermarket), and some have been supportive and comfortable, others not so much. After sitting in a friends ecoboost with them for an extended drive and not really liking them, and then sitting in a Gt350 in Monterey during the historic races, i got the base seats for now(and will probably get the gt350 seats at some point).

I definitely will be doing autocross and hpde events with the gt(ive tracked almost every car I've owned) so suspension and tires will also happpen at some point. Loving the car so far and excited to put some miles on it!:headbang:

Hi everyone, this is a great forum. I've been cruising around here getting ready to get the new Mustang and there's been a lot of good information here. I just put a deposit on a 051A V6 in Magnetic a dealer had coming in a couple of weeks, now I got the new car wait jitters too LOL. Hoping it's a good one without the body panel or uneven rear glass issues that I've heard a lot about, or the rattles that seem to have gotten better with later cars (or maybe newer cars just haven't had time to develop the rattles yet. On the minus side, the car has a Friday blend date and Monday and Friday cars tend to have more build issues--time will tell.

I got the V6 over the Ecoboost for the better exhaust sound and reliability; passed on the GT, though it was really tempting, because of the higher price. I had an '88 GT with the 5-speed manual back in the day, will be good to be in another Mustang again. I probably won't be doing a lot of modding to the V6, but I will probably do something about the exhaust, maybe a tune to get a little more power, and better speakers for the stereo. The down side with the V6 it seems is a lot fewer of them are sold and modded compared to the Eco and GT there's not much modding info on it, or maybe I just haven't looked hard enough yet.

^Appreciated your comments about why you chose the V-6. I made the same choice to go with the bullet-proof, no falderal, longevity champ Cyclone. I believe you might be very pleasantly surprised at the heightened quality of the S550 and the improved handling of the IRS. The V-6 engine is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Mustang engines..."I get no respect".

Was wanting a 2015, but haven't been able to get what I wanted, at a price I could live with. So I ran a build sheet today from Fords website. Tuesday I will order my 2016 GT premium, deep impact blue, with 3.55 rear end, navigation, foundry wheels and the ceramic seat centers. 6 speed manual. The wait is on.

Never owned a V-8 car. Love the power of my 5.9L Cummuns and can't wait for the 5.0.

Hello from Conshohocken PA! Just sold my '06 V6 Mustang about 2 weeks ago and upgraded to a 2015 Mustang GT Premium (white/ceramic, 6 spd manual, nav, 20's, 401A). It's a blast to drive, such a fun car! I used this site for research and am happy to be apart of this group!

Hello all. I just picked up this GT PP a few weeks ago. 2015 GT Premium PP Oxford White with Recaros.

My first car was a 94 Mustang and haven't had another one since. I've had 3 1994-1995 Supra Turbos, 3 300ZX TT's from the mid 90's, 3 C5 Vettes (one 04 Z06) and many other performance cars like M3's, CTS-V, CL55 AMG and so on. I know... I have a problem...

This GT is quickly becoming one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. Mostly because of how well this car did at the track last weekend. I was passing cars that I could not pass in my previous car (2010 Lancer EVO making over 400whp). Nobody could believe how "stock" my car was. This 40k car was holding it's own with some serious track cars. I've been trying to attach the video somehow but I've given up. This car rotates on the limit. I honestly din't feel much understeer at all. It was loose on turn exit (which I enjoy). It is definitely a fantastic track car. The Stock PP brakes held up great to the Porterfield Race Pads which I highly recommend. I also would suggest the SRF brake fluid. It's crazy expensive but well worth it.

Here is the link to the video. If anyone can embed this, please feel free. Cheers!!

In this video you will see two 991 GT3's, a 997 Cup Car and a M3 spin right in front of me.
