Does anyone have a good source for the PP trim for this mod? I'm not really keen on paying $1200 to Ford for a piece of aluminum worth $20.

Thanks, what did you search to find that? I've been on ebay for days looking and I'm usually pretty good at finding obscure stuff.
I search that seller midway mustangs, they usually have them every so often. setup a saved search for the seller.

So I have yet another question about this regarding using the Ford boost gauge.

Are FRPP gauges #M-10849-A and Ecoboost PP gauges #FR3Z-10849-G the same thing? I'm almost certain they are, and the EBPP gauges seem to be had for cheaper since you can get them used.

same part, M-10849-A is the Ford performance part# and includes install instructions and 2 retention clips that go onto the back of the cluster. FR3Z-10849-G is the Ford replacement part#.

Mine works!!!

I tore my dash apart today and it took a bit to fish out the connector behind the Synch module. I should have had my daughter do it. She's tiny. My hands are just too dang big to dig around back there. It looks like I've been washing my hands with poison ivy.

Anyway. I got the connector out, and plugged the gauge in. What's interesting, is I did not go in to have it tuned by the local Roush dealer. Both oil pressure and vacuum are working. They did say they can calibrate it for me for about $60. Seems like a good idea, since I'm not sure how accurate it is...

When the oil is fully warmed up, my idle pressure is around 30psi. In fact it was about that when cold as well. Which seems strange.

Another thing I noticed, is that when my car hits around 3,000rpm, it suddenly shoots up to around 80psi. Is this normal? Does the bypass close around 3k for high RPM operation?

For those who have a 2017GT premium non PP and NOT 401, you may not have the plug for the gauge. I’ve torn my dash apart and here’s a picture of what it looks like behind the black panel. Of course my luck there’s no plug! The green wires are the after market plug that I bought.

can you post a more clearer pic?

what happens if you stick small screwdriver through the square hole in the plastic structure behind screen, does it go all the way through? did you stick your hand behind the plastic structure to see if the wire fell out of square hole? not saying your wrong but I would be suprised if you don't have the wire on 17 gt premium.
