Other than being a slight PITA to install and the unexpected 30 degrees of toe out (that was easily remedied), I can not say enough good things about this kit.

Install videos make me laugh sometimes. When they say to "hit" the knuckle with a hammer....I had to HIT that B...a lot. Finally got an alignment done and drove the car today. The description in the kit is spot on. Steering response is massively improved and my Mustang feels like it is on rails. Honestly, I feel more of a "wow" factor after installing these compared to what I noticed after installing their pro-action dampers and dual rate springs. Not to say those items did not impress, because they did.

Control arms aren't as "sexy" as other suspension components, but damn....these make a huge difference in handling! 5/5 stars Steeda!

We appreciate your feedback, Chris - glad you are seeing a noticeable difference after install!

Let us know if we can help with anything in the future :)

Excuse my ignorance but will you get same/safe results for a non lowered vehicle? I may not lower my Mach 1 but with the success and being super impressed of stop the hop I want to continue with suspension work.

If I may use this opportunity to offer a tip about popping that ball joint loose...

Hit the ball joint with a short handle sledge, not the knuckle. Swing at it horizontally and it will pop loose.

I hold another large ball peen hammer against the joint and then strike the peen end with the sledge. This prevents putting a dent into the arm. And it's less risky when you miss lol.

I thought the same after swapping to Steeda lateral & tension links (on base GT). Then I added the 2-point G-Track brace to complete the steering improvement. Also 1.8 camber and Steeda Min-drop springs (200/800).

***** is correct about the control arms. You don't need those since the factory arms already have bearings. You could still get an improvement in braking feel and turn-in under braking by installing the tension rods with bearings. I'm not sure how much of an improvement you'd see with the tension rods with bushings even though Steeda claims they are stiffer than stock.
I have the Steeda tension rods with bearings and am happy with them. I had tension rod bushings replaced with bearings in my last two M3s and experienced no increase in NVH with the BMWs or my Mustang.

Makes you wonder WTF Ford can't make 'parts' that create this feeling. Gotta but the damn car twice. Or get a BMW or Honda Civic Type R.

Any idea what the weight difference vs. stock is?

Just to elaborate further, when you mention increased feel, are you talking by the butt of your seat or by the steering communicating to you that you have more grip than what you were pushing before?

Been trying to find ways to help improve the actual feedback/feel so I might consider this down the line.
Were the Control Arms easy or just as much a PITA?

Definitely more grip during turning. Much better feel to the steering as well as the car feels more responsive and less "floaty". The rear control arms and vertical link install was simple. I had a hard time getting the front lateral and tension links released from the knuckle. Putting the new ones in was easy.

Not sure, but likely not significant.
Damn, alright well thanks anyways. I know the post isn't about it, but how do you like the ECS02's?

So far, I love them and would definitely recommend.

These arms make a big difference after you've lowered the car. Glad you're seeing the effects from that. The only downside is they reduce the track width slightly.
