Just turned over 1,000 miles. Can I redline ? I hope to never see redline rpm, but curious how many miles I need before I'm able too ?

I hope to never see redline rpm
You seriously plan on never seeing redline rpm?

It's not even like you bought a base mustang, you bought a mach 1 and don't even plan on driving it properly? Your name is also "Racer57"...

1000 miles are enough, just begin to put load progressively on the engine.

Everyone is different I guess. If I was going to spend a decent amount of money on a high-performance car I am going to drive it! I rev my car to 8k+ rpm multiple times a day.

I tried to locate the video, but I watched one before of a group hitting the redline at 12 miles, while on a dyno. You'll know you've hit the redline when the dash display turns completely red. LOL.

But I'd follow Ford's guidance and do so after a good, progressive break-in of 1000 mi / 1600 km. It's not just the engine, but all the components of the drivetrain are seating during this time.

Comments above relate to an entirely new car. If a new engine, transmission, drivetrain component has been installed, for example, to go racing, follow the recommendations of the builder/manufacturer for break-in and redline.

I was multiple times at the rev limiter 2 days after delivery (took it autocrossing while still on temp tags) . Engine is taking no oil at all at this point (5 years after) . Zero.

I hit pretty close to it on the test drive in mine LOL. Not completely redline but close. Definitely bounced off it in the first week. 10K miles, zero oil consumption running perfectly. Did the same with every car I have had for 30 years.

(Almost) hit it on test drive and definitely before 100 miles. I too have no real consumption and am at 21000 miles.

Me it was 8 miles, picked mine up with 2 miles on the odometer.
it was exactly 6 miles to our dig spot. 60k miles later still runs flawless.
No oil consumption. These aren't 1970's rebuilds w/ iron rings LOL.

You could have done it 900 miles ago, and you probably should have. I'm one of those believers that engines should be broken in hard, not babied. Plus between the factory and the delivery, 99% of the "breaking in" is already done before you even get the car.

I'm assuming that the automatic tranny will shift before the rev limiter kicks in. But, I will take it to the local drag strip a couple of times. There isn't any road course tracks anywhere me.

Mile 1, and don't look back. It has an engine speed limiter where it is for a reason.
