It sounds like a mouse fart under a comforter. Is that standard for 2019?

Well damn.

I figured a TSB or something.

Are they hard to replace?

No not really. It's in the other posts. My dealer did it for me at no cost. I bought the horn from them so it cost me about $26.00. Big, big difference.

Ford reduced cost in 2019 by deleting the dual horn setup to a single horn, as opposed to the dual (L and R) horns.

A Ford SSM was also released telling Service Centers that it was a running change and that it’s completely normal in the event a Customer has a concern.

I changed out my 2019 horn after I heard it. Bought the 2018 one. It's plug and play. Takes like 30 minutes if you don't drop anything.

The double honk for shutting the door while its running sounds louder/better than hitting the actual horn via steering wheel. I usually the give it revs instead of the weak af horn when someone needs attention.

Yeah, the 18-19 exhaust tends to get people's attention.
I dare say it might be a small benefit of the slow 6 speed. Not that it's difficult to throw the auto in N all quick like lol

I just replaced my 2019 single-note horn with a dual note. There's some videos on YouTube that others have done. I actually found it a little challenging, only because I could only get one of my fat mitts down there at a time. It was easy to get the horn out, but harder to get the new one into place while getting the bolt in. Pro-tip - you might want to put some tape over that nut that's clipped onto the frame, as it slides off and gets lost pretty easily. I finally gave up and used my own bolt from the visible side, and threaded on a nut/lock washer from the other side. Probably a ton easier if you take out the air intake box, but I didn't bother.

From the drivers side front corner of the engine bay, you can easily look down and see the horn.

To the left, you can see the clip-on nut and the bolt sticking out.

Here's the two horns compared. Wiring clip is identical, just unplug the old and plug in the new one, once you get it bolted in.
