passenger door doesn't unlock when the driver has the fob. tested it multiple times. driver's door opens just fine but passenger door was still locked (had to unlock it for friend to get in).
With Both doors locked, I went to passenger door with Fob in pocket, touched the handle, it unlocked...Checked it 3 times.

I think you have to "Activate Intelligent Access" to be able to do the passenger door...

Mine unlocks. Pretty there is a a setting to unlock passenger at the same time. Can't remember what the default was. Seems to me I had to turn the passenger unlock on.

Does anyone know how to disable this? It's so annoying when I have the keys in my pocket, get out of the car with the engine on, and the horn beeps twice. People always look thinking I'm honking at them... or trying to get attention for my brand new car.
It honks when you get out of the car with the key fob to tell you that the key has left the area, so it turns off the car.

We know why it does. We want it to stop doing it. :D

I'm hoping for #1. I really like using my horn. :D
Given the fact that other ford forums (Edge and focus) have the same complaints with no resolution yet, I wouldn't count on being able to program it out anytime soon.

It doesn't turn off the car. If it did that on top of the honking I'd complain on the Internet very loudly with fists balled up, instead of merely voicing my displeaure

Almost all brands supply their cars with a regular horn for the purposes of blasting other motorists, etc.

And a chime to alert the operator that they may be doing something in error and signalling that the car is off and locked either by touching the handle of pushing the FOB numerous times.

Ford is such a strange company. Some great products and innovations and then something as STUPID as using THE HORN for everything. It's as if Ford's top brass drive vehicles other than FORDS!
