Yes or no?

If yes, Redline, Steeda, or...?

I bought the FP hood struts. Got them BF sale and coupon for $67. I'll see how they work on Saturday. Didn't think it was worth spending more for an item that should have been put on in factory. why pay 2x price?

Redline. I've had 3 sets now on 3 different Mustangs. They're the only brand I've never read complaints about. All the others I've seen where people sometimes have problems.

I really want the Steeda hood struts but right now my hands are tide for only go-fasters. I've already spent too much on non speed parts. The Steeda struts are the only struts I've seen that I like for aftermarket hoods. After I get everything else I want, I'm going to do it.

Funny story, I lined up with 10 other S550's at Nightmoves a few weeks ago and I was the only one with a propRod and boy did they let me know it.. One comment was, "After all the money you put into your car and you still don't have hood struts?" Damn bastards need need to start spending their money when they mod my car with their opinions, lol

I concur! This will be the 4th mustang I have installed them on and I have been extremely satisfied. Only one time did I have a problem and it wasn't a strut issue it was the end fitting that clips onto the hood insert would not clip on and [email protected] immediately shipped out a part for replacement. They have always stood behind there products.

Hood Struts a definite yes! I've used the Ford Performance ones. I did make a custom beefed up nut for them (same nut like the Redline).

Do you have to drill the body to install the Redline on a 2019 Bullitt? I'm not wanting to drill for
installation.
