This is the correct answer. Factory red or clear. Avoid the headaches and regret of aftermarket. It never turns out well.

Euros are badass, but I have NEVER had a good time with aftermarket lighting though.

Yep. There seems to be a new post every week or so about X brand lights having some kind of issue. Stick with Ford/Ford Performance whenever possible with that kind of stuff

Same as any other taillight for S550. You need to remove the plastic piece in the trunk, remove a few push pins to pull the trunk liner back and unscrew a few nuts. There is a plastic piece that sits on top of the taillight housing, I believe that needs to be removed from the old lights and transferred to the new ones. CJ Pony Parts has several install videos for the S550 taillights, worth taking a look at (not the Ford Performance lights specifically but the install is the same for all of them).

Haha! Yep, do that if you so choose. I keep mine plugged in mostly because I use the remote start from the FordPass App quite frequently. Otherwise I’d pull mine also
