I narrowed down my Mustang hunt to two cars and I'm having a hard time picking between the two. Hoping I can get some opinions on what I should do
  1. A 2018 Mustang GT Kona Blue at $34k with 301A equipment group, 10A, enhanced security and black accent packages, spare wheel, and NAV. This car is out of 3/36 warranty and has 25k miles. It also had the 10A replaced under warranty.
    1. I don't like the higher mileage, the A10 replacement, wheels/tires it comes with, and to an extent the color. I would also have to add an extended warranty through Ford for $1,000 that will give me an extra 3 years of bumper to bumper coverage
    2. I like the equipment as it comes with Sync 3 and the othe packages. The price is also very good for the equipment and mileage in this market (I think).
  2. A 2019 Mustang GT Ruby Red at $36.5k with just the A10. The car has the 3/36 warranty for another two years and it barely has 12k miles on the clock. It also comes with the PP wheels and Michelin Sport 4s which are my favorite wheel/tire combo.
    1. I don't like the lack of equipment, and the fact that I think it is a bit overpriced ($2k below MSRP). I will also have to pay to add Sync3 and the digital dash.
    2. I like the color, the low miles, the fact that is under warranty and that is in mint condition (PPF and tint).
What would you guys pick?

Does the 2019 actually have the Performance Pack? Or just the wheels and tires?

"Pay to add the Sync3 and Digital Dash"? Are there companies out there that do that stuff?

Nope, just the wheels. You can purchase the parts and install/program them yourself. It's about $1,000 for Sync3 and $1,500 for the dash.

I would agree. Go with #2. You can always add Sync3 later on and the digital dash. Digital dash is nice but shouldn't sway your decision. If you don't get the color you like, you are going to wish you had.

Try and talk them down a grand to cover your Sync3 kit. Gotta play hardball with the dealer and let them know that no Sync3 is a deal breaker.

IF you have to buy #1 or #2, I'd say #2 all day. Lower miles, a year newer, warranty. Even with fewer options, those are huge for resale IMHO.

I won't be able to talk any of it down. These are cars being sold by online retailers so there is very little room for negotiation :(
The options are not a huge deal-breaker it's just that I will have to add them to the 19 Ruby Red plus (which has a $2,500 higher starting price). I will also have to add the dash to both down the road. I just thought it would be nice to spend $2,500 less right away and have more room to do upgrades to the Kona Blue but the higher mileage, the color, and the A10 replacement are making me doubt if it's even worth it.

Ok. In that case follow your heart not your pocket book, otherwise you will always wish you made a different decision. Assuming that the difference in price is not going to put you in a bad financial situation.
Again, the digital dash is not a showstopper. Sync3 is a big deal. It really makes the experience better.
Or keep on searching for a car that ticks all the boxes.

The first one sounds like a much better looking color combo with the blue/black accent package, but I'd go with the 2nd option if you have to pick one.

Having a warranty on a pre-owned vehicle is a huge stress reliever.

I wish... they must have switched the wheels because it comes with the new 18+ 18" OEM style wheels (the machined black ones with the long 5 spikes) and very crappy tires too.

Update: I just purchased the 19+ so I will keep you guys posted when it arrives!

Gorgeous car, great choice, congratulations!

Those appear to be the PP1 wheels.
The front are 9" 255/40ZR 19. The valve stem is "IN" the fishtail.

The rear are 9.5" 275/40ZR 19. The valve stem is "BETWEEN" the fishtails.
