I have a 2017 Ford Mustang Gt base model I am going to but new wheels and tires for my car in 2 weeks.

My question is how can I make my car handle better without lowering it?

I meant to say without lowering it

Any Info would be appreciated

Thanks

With a base model, I'd go steeda fixed shocks, billet shock mounts, sway bars, and either their progressive or ultralite linears depending on how firm you want it. I'd also do their starter stop the hop kit.

How much you want to lower (minimal, full slammed, in-between) and how much additional stiffness do you want? Cruiser, sporty, full race car...how do you envision the car to handle?

Your best bet would probably be picking up a set of used GT/PP dampers and springs along with the Steeda billet shock mounts. Or those parts but with the BMR SP763 springs if you don't mind a minor drop. I have them and it doesn't scrape or rub anywhere.

If you really don't want to lower it, grab some GT PP springs and dampers, BMR CB005 and the Steeda billet shock mounts. It'll be a big improvement. If you are feeling more adventurous, a big one for handling is the RLCA bearings.

to build off of what BmacIL said id also reccoment the cb005 from bmr. It really helps plant the rear IRS and feels less floaty around corners plus reduce wheel hop big time. Also BMR does do a minimal drop spring. In all honesty the S55o's look great lowered...

The BMR CB005 is a must have. The IRS moves around a bunch which causes all kind of handling issues. Definitely get that.

To drop or not to drop?

Before my drop, my GT would float at speeds exceeding 70 mph. I didn't like that at all when passing slower traffic. The BMR CB005 & 006 tightened the chassis well and I bought SVE progressive springs on sale at LMR for $179.00 and their drop is 1.0 rear & 1.1-3 front. Here's a pic. Of note: I have 255/45/18 rear & 255/40/18 tires on the front.
