There are many things non-GTD discussed in this thread.^^^ Cool video, but I think that is a purpose built GT3 race car, not a street legal GTD. Many many, many differences, including engine, transmission (and location), suspension etc etc etc. The GT3/4 was inspiration for GTD, but they took GTD a very different direction, as they did not have to adhere to any rules packages, of various racing sanctioning bodies.

As long as you don't overfill the tank or allow gas to drip into the engine, you should be fine.If anyone is contemplating a C8 Z06 or ZR1 in lieu of or in addition to the GTD, be aware. GM is fixing the issue but another problem for them on top of the 6.2L L87 recall.

I heard from a friend it was the cooling fans blowing fuel vapors onto the hot exhaust manifolds. As long as you don't overfill the tank or allow gas to drip into the engine, you should be fine.
I think owners are the problem. Stop filling up like a savage.![]()

Actually the dealer handles the transaction. It's a "normal" car sale. They get the MSO from Ford, all funds are paid to the dealer and they handle all the paperwork. The dealer gets a flat fee commission that is included in the MSRP (that number is $15k). Pretty simple process. And no the dealer is not necessarily the delivery location. The buyer dictates where the car is delivered. Reliable is the carrier, and they will go anywhere they can fit the truck. The selling dealer does need to be present to deal with the paperwork. There is a dealer in MI that will "sell" a LOT of these cars, and travels to all delivery's. This was the same process as the NGT, and they sold more of them than any dealer in the US.For those with allocations. Do you have to pay anything to the delivery dealership ? I assumed all finances were handled via ford directly. The dealership doesn’t have any role in it except delivery location.
Ah okay. That makes sense. Is there a possibility that the dealer can mark it up?Actually the dealer handles the transaction. It's a "normal" car sale.
