Simply put, the car is worthless to me unless I can run flat out for 30 mins at Daytona. Im waiting to see what/who gets this car out at the track to see what they can do.
I was told that months ago. I recently saw a video of some delivered GTD's and the narrator kept saying the car had magnesium wheels. I asked if what we were told was incorrect and it was confirmed, only aluminum wheels are available at present and anyone that claims otherwise is wrong.
Correct, couple videos have mis stated that mag wheels are on the car. Pretty easy to do, as the pre hype, really focused on them (and they also match the aluminum wheels past the "magnesium" branding) .
It appears to be Rapid Red. It’s one of the preproduction cars

Agreed, they’re two different colors. While Ford has been known to rebrand past colors, that’s not the case with Rapid Red (at least that I’m aware). They do change names for the same color when it’s on different vehicles (Fighter Jet Gray = Mustang, Cactus Gray = Bronco), but I’ve not seen them do that with Rapid Red either.
That is pretty, but not what I'd want on a track car that see sticky tires throwing trash at. Tri coats are a rpita to match.
Wonder what if anything adding it to one of these would do affect the value. As it wasn't factory applied. I'd think buyers of these if and when they cross an auction block stage will be anal about everything on a vehicle like this.
