Easiest fix is to buy and instal the sensor. It's about $30. Another option is to tap and insert a pipe plug. Third option is to measure the hole and find and tap in an appropriately sized galley plug.
Im going this route. I ordered a sensor this morning.

Does anyone know what the function of the supplied pink plugs that are located on the underside? Is this just for shipping reasons?

I've always heard them called "rain shower plugs". I've seen vendors use them to regulate oil dripping onto valvetrain components. Ford uses them to drain the oil from behind the metal PCV baffle plate. The 3th one on the passenger side cover, when installed, will allow the GT500 air/oil separator to drain the captured oil back into engine.

So i should leave them alone and install as is? Thanks for the help.

They are 1 way silicone drain valve for the oil that get separated from the oil mist in the breather baffles
Do not remove them

1) Way cooler looking than garbage plastic

2) Practically twice the mounting bolts thus way less likelihood of loosening and oil seepage (BEST reason hands down)

3) Arguably either hotter or cooler dissapation wise (many arguments either way)

4) Definitely heavier, i’ll take that negligible trade off

5) No need to lug around that pesky extra $350 😁

IMHO just a matter of taste otherwise

Yep, from my experience and research the stock plastic covers only use 9 of the 14 mounting holes and they start to leak. The one I did for my son leaked pretty good.

The stock replacements also only use the 9 of the 14 mounting holes and are pretty close cost wise the the aluminum ones.

You forgot

6.) Its my car and I do with it what I want.

I would also include that it might be best as #1 instead of #6.

However, I am in total agreement with everything that you listed.

You should have her change the blinker fluid so you can spend more time with her.
