Yes, drivers side.

Thanks for offering to check.

As far as I know, I ordered the same part # as everyone else.

I emailed Levittown Ford for a possible plug. I double checked my box to see if one was included and didn't find one. I guess I'll triple check.

I did find out the the new dipstick tube they recommend won't work, so I went back with the original. The new one doesn't have the yellow top part for the dipstick to seat/seal into.

I went ahead and installed it and just have rubber plug in it for the time being.

I'll post up some of my progress in my repair plans thread. Maybe someone has a solution.

Okay since you replied to me earlier, I have an issue.

Did your drivers side cover have this hole?

I think it is for an oil catch can. I need to find a plug for it as my plastic stock covers didn't have this.

TIA

Those covers are for the 2025 F150 5.2L. P2GZ9J460A is the sensor that fits there and W714507S437 is the bolt that holds it in place.

Well I'll be damned. Guess I'll get with Levittown on the correct part.

Thanks for the input.

That’s interesting there’s multiple designs for that cover and engine. What is the sensor? Clearly we don’t have it.

What parts did you order? Was it the FP GT500 cover kit or something else? The reason I ask is that the GT500 covers will have oil control baffling in the crankcase vent systems for track use, but an F150 cover might not have that. They'll look great, but might not be so great for fast curves at high g's.

I ordered M-6067-M52S

Which is what every site lists and whose images don't have the extra port, even on Levittown's website.

From Levittown' website:
Part Number: M-6067-M52S
m-6067-m52s.webp
m-6067-m52s.webp

Interesting. The FP web page doesn't say anything about "GT500" valve covers, so maybe they aren't and never were. Or maybe they're the same exact part with an extra hole on the driver's side.

I have heard them referenced on here as "GT 500" cam covers, like the Title of this thread. The car I'm putting them on is a 2015 GT Premium

Kudos to Levittown for responding to my emails on a Sunday.

They said it is a manufacturing issue with no solution at present time.

They also sent me return label so I can return these.

I ordered from Summit in Arlington and will go pick them up tomorrow so I can put eyes on them before I walk out the door.

I just didn’t OPGs on my car and decided to swap the 500 covers wile everything was part and I have the exact same issue. I had to complete the install to get my car home. My mechanic put a temporary plug and bolt in mine. Has anyone come with a permanent fix for this yet?

The best fix is the correct cam cover. It appears that there were a batch of covers sent out with the wrong part number associated to them and they have been shipped to customers. You might contact whomever you bought them from with the issue, but it might be complicated since they have been installed.

Easiest fix is to buy and instal the sensor. It's about $30. Another option is to tap and insert a pipe plug. Third option is to measure the hole and find and tap in an appropriately sized galley plug.

This is from my other thread:

Well some good news. I got the correct covers from Summit.

The first set they pulled however were exactly like the set from Levittown.

I told the sales guy that their website showed that they had 10 in stock and I was willing to go through every box in hopes of finding the correct ones. They pulled another box and it was correct.

So for the foreseeable future, buyer beware. Hopefully Ford Performance lets all their customers know to check their stock and pull the incorrect ones. Honestly it is easy to miss.

I don't know how close you are to a Summit Racing Store or other physical supplier of the covers, but I would try to purchase them in person. I ordered online and picked up in person.

The problem with installing the sensor would be that you would have to drill a hole for it in the coil cover or leave that coil cover off. A block off plate/plug would probably work, but finding one would be the issue. Tapping for the threaded plug wouldn't be a good idea since they are already installed.

Or if you think what your mechanic did with a plug and bolt to fill the holes is sufficient, run it and forget about it.

I was lucky and didn't need mine for transportation.

The sensor lays flat against the valve cover, it should fit under the coil cover.
