For what it's worth, I have had Progressive for about a year now and my son filed a claim about a month ago. Claim processed, repairs made, deductible paid and car back on the road in a timely manner. No issues at all. I also got a notice after the claim, that my rate was dropping (15/month)...
Is your motor stock? If it comes back especially with a P0300 code as well, it could be the Intake runner control rod is broken.
The P0300 is for random misfires.
My son's 2015 had the same codes, no running issues, but had the broken rod. I fixed it myself after researching the issue on...
You might be able to repair it for around 50.00. Check out this thread and the links included if interested. I did on my son's, and one of the links is from me.
I would first do what is recommended above, you might get lucky.
If not, check out this thread and the links contained in it.

If you have any questions reach out. So far, the repair I did...
Thanks for all the advice. I'll see about getting an Oasis report. I did have one dealer say they couldn't give me any info. because I wasn't the owner at the time of service.
All the others said their records didn't go back that far. I have a feeling that is just a standard excuse. Hell...
My son purchased a used 2015 GT about a year ago, and when I added the VIN to the my Ford account, is shows some service history from as far back as 2016. Since ford uses such just basic terminology for what was done, I've called the dealerships (4 in total) but so far none can give my any...
It does look like there should be at least a spot to attach the clip/retainer to. I've got a manual, but look to see if there is a spot to attach it to the brake pedal bracket. Or maybe a spot under the carpet.
To be honest, I haven't put many miles on them because I've been dealing with other issues.
I plan on having the front end checked out in a couple of weeks and then should be able to put some miles on it and give a better review.
Also, the Coopers are only on the front.
For the few miles I...
Are you getting a P2014 code?
The reason I ask, is I fixed the broken rod on the drivers side of the intake, and now I am getting this code. I am hoping it is a simple wiring fix similar to yours. Assuming you can find a pig tail.
I'll do some searching and see if I can locate a pig tail.
Small update. When I test drove the car Friday, it would occasionally stall on me when taking a slow corner or when coming to a stop. I didn't worry about trying to diagnose it then as we were headed out of town.
So when we got back this afternoon, same thing. Then I started thinking and...
Yep, from my experience and research the stock plastic covers only use 9 of the 14 mounting holes and they start to leak. The one I did for my son leaked pretty good.
The stock replacements also only use the 9 of the 14 mounting holes and are pretty close cost wise the the aluminum ones.
Well I finally got my clutch pedal fixed and I took it on a short test drive. So far still no check engine light/codes. Also no issues with the pedal repair.
Now I need to schedule with my mechanic on repairing a leaking pinion seal, some exhaust work, possible oil pan replacement and...
Well I was able to get it all buttoned up today and took if for a short test drive. So far, so good. I didn't check for any issues with the cruise control cancel switch, but will first part of next week.
So glad I'm finally done. Clutch doesn't seem to have any issues without the spring, but...
Well I tried a different approach this morning. I didn't put my contacts in my eye balls. I don't know if that was the trick or not, but I think I'll take them out the next time I buy a lottery ticket. LOL
I struggled a little, but was able to get the clutch MC lined up and bolted in. I...
Well my attempt at getting everything back together has hit a couple of snags. Tuesday I got the assemble back in, but struggled getting the cruise cancel switch installed and getting the clutch master cylinder bolts to align in the plastic frame. Struggled with them again yesterday.
Today I...
