That’s one cobbled together S550...

1) it has “old” headlights
2) it has “old” taillights

If it’s a refresh, why are they still using the old style headlights (2015-17) on the front fascia?

One would think if that front fascia is “new” or in development, they would be using the 2018+ headlights (OR something entirely different).

I think it’s just a confused old guy who wrapped his S550 to resemble a Detroit mule....:giggle:

(although no roof antenna, so maybe it’s an old stripped R)

Wow! That is a very old prototype. The headlamps are actually pre-production (for want of a better description) version.......it has an orange circular sticker in use as a side reflector, rather than the production version.

So, these are either very old photographs, or they've dug that old prototype up to test something in the drivetrain. As many seem confident GT350 is gone after the '20MY, it could be a very early mule for the '21MY Mach 1 (that's assuming Mach 1 does indeed use a lot of GT350 items). It's still very different to the recently spied prototype for the Mach 1, based on an '18 PP2 car.

If you read the thread and the caption above the pictures, they are talking about seeing Ford prototypes near Mesa, AZ. The post says "Got these pics of THE THEN NEW gt350 in Mesa" which tells me he took those pictures years ago.

It is an old photo taken between April of 2015 and March of 2016.

The answer is in these photos:
Can you spot it?
