Yeah on a stock motor the CJ intake may make less power but theres a reason the 5.2 cross plane motor with the CJ intake makes 540+ hp. Ford could have easily put a stock Gt350 intake on. Theres a reason they didn't Im sure. Im not saying the GT350 intake is not a good option for a lot of people but theres a reason Ford chose to use the old CJ intake vs the new GT350 intake on their performance crate engines.

I would definitely love to see this intake with longtubes, cams, and E85 for sure!
CJ intake is great for full throttle drag strip passes but 99% of people on this website are driving street cars and might go to the track once in a while.

The CJ intake only offers what the GT350 intake offers at high RPMs. It offers nothing at part throttle from 1000-3500 RPMs. The CJ is a one trick pony.

Those are great results and thank you for all the hard work and effort to get use all the details. I might be making the jump to the GT350 manifold in the near future!

Pretty sure that reason is the GT350 exclusivity.

Nothing more.

It will likely become an easy to order option in a year or two.

+1, and this wouldn't cause any foreseeable hiccups in the future would it?
That's not as big of an issue as people are thinking that it is. LS engines have been experiencing this for years with no problems. It is not optimal but it does not hurt power that much

I wish someone would make a cast or aluminum version of this. I doubt itll hold more then 20psi for long. That was the problem with the boss or cj. :( i guess im back to going with the victor II
There are people running 30psi+ on boss manifolds. Where on earth have you heard they won't hold 20psi?

FYI. I'm one of those people.

One of the multiple manifold threads. I think beef mentioned some people have cracked them.
Interesting. I know several guys with boss manifolds running 25+psi for years with no problems.
