Why was one pull done in 4th gear and the other in 5th? Wouldn't that change the torque value ?

all of my initial pulls were done in 4th, for whatever reason, thats why I did the initial hit in 4th today to show a true comparison between the 2, the single dyno run was done in 5th to show the difference in dynoing in 4th and 5th

I understand the gear change part but his first pull in 4th gear with the gt350 TB and the second pull with stock TB in 4th was a 30 ft lbs tq change

looking at previous datalogs up to this point, spark and cam timing has remained pretty consistent between the 2 pulls as well, although my car is adding another degree here lately, I guess my local station is getting a less wintery blend

Also, air velocity or lack thereof can affect torque output.

Got an appointment in April with my tuner to install the manifold and TB , might have to compare the 2 before I leave there that's for sure

Man I already have the ported stock TB so all I would need to buy is the GT350 manifold and the adapter from MMR

was the tune the same for the TB comparisons (and if so, was it the one "optimized" for the OEM or GT350 TB), or did you flash in between runs?
i'll have additional data to share shortly.

The only difference in the tune between the 2 runs was the different throttle tables for the gt350 throttle body...

Great result!

I really am starting to believe all we need is the:
350 intake manifold
air-raid tube
adapter
high flow panel filter

Might as well keep the stock throttle body and stock air box setup, it is clear all the gains are coming from the tune and intake manifolds.

I wouldnt go so far as to say an intake isnt needed, this intake manifold moves a lot of air
