I apologize if I've overlooked this in the thread, but what is causing the factory engine cover to not fit? Is it clearance (brace or hood?), or are the mounting holes in a different location?

There are no mounting holes in the GT350 manifold.I apologize if I've overlooked this in the thread, but what is causing the factory engine cover to not fit? Is it clearance (brace or hood?), or are the mounting holes in a different location?
Well that explains that. I guess I could have taken a peek at a GT350 engine bay before posting! There are no mounting holes in the GT350 manifold.
No it was a good questions. You really need to see it in person to tell. That was the first thing I looked at when we got the manifold :cheers:Well that explains that. I guess I could have taken a peek at a GT350 engine bay before posting!
Maybe the OP or someone will be able to make something work. I love the idea of this intake but I would also like to keep the appearance as stock as possible, because stealth reasons....No it was a good questions. You really need to see it in person to tell. Of course, this is a public forum so I think I just blew the stealth approach.....

You can probably fab something up to mount off of these points:Can anyone with this intake comment on how easy/difficult it appears adding something to include the stock engine cover may be? I'm quite partial to my painted covers and would rather not part with them.
You realize that 5th gear in our cars is 1:1, right? The same as previous generation 5-speed manuals 4th gear. You aren't going any faster due to the physical gate the gear is in.Many shops won't allow that because of the speeds the car gets up to in fifth. The results in fourth usually aren't much different. The ones that I've seen compare pulls in different gears show that they're reading within the margin of error on a dyno.

lower. and sometimes much lower torque readings. thats why his torque is showing up at 326.Doesn't 4th gear give higher readings?
