Im thinking for the sake of "saying so", Ford will have a minimum of 100 Hp / Liter, so a minimum of 520 HP.

My guess is 530 HP. And a faster track time than the z/28 for just over 50 grand. I'm really curious to see what transmission they use.

It will be every bit of 70k. The PP car already outperforms the Boss so the Shelby GT350 will go for the Z28 and Corvette.

Honestly, if it doesn't come with 500+ I will see that as a bit of a failure. I know HP isn't everything, but if it wants to keep up/trounce the z/28 it needs to have some power behind it. I'm expecting between 500-550 hp.

Agree, just from a marketing and perception standpoint it had better be at least 500 HP.

More than 707 hp of the hellcat? Or is that for the GT500?

I keep adjusting mine...

480 - 520hp
$52-57k starting price

I would LIKE 500+ and start of $50k, but I see that as being unrealistic. Under $60k, I'll buy it as long as it is at least 475hp

I can get a well optioned gt with warranteed supercharger (600 ponies) for 50ish. If I'm shelling out 55k plus ...I want at least 525 horses exceptionally well balanced machine with a screaming exhaust note.

Like the Boss, this is track oriented, not the power beast like the GT500 was. It will be track focused and tuned and would lay waste to a well optioned GT with a supercharger even if it had less HP because it will weigh less, have better traction, control, etc for the track. I'm not saying you are wrong as even me saying "this is track oriented" is speculation until Monday...I'm just saying that this will be far different from slapping a supercharger on a GT...
