I see all the back and forth over the specs and the looks and its connection to the heritage of the earlier mach 1 models. (Good, it's a discussion forum after all there is still allowed to be more than 1 opinion here right? We haven't canceled debate here yet have we?).
As a casual I have to...
Also some dealers want the car in the showroom just to show it. They don't actually mind if it doesn't sell. And I'm thinking that the ridiculous ADMs suggest Ford may have under priced the MSRP based on market demand.
Back in the day I used to go to 'Fun Ford Weekend' sponsored by Tasca Ford up at NE Dragway. Would drive my mostly stock 93 GT up there and was a dream for Mustang fans. All the Ford vehicles would come out and rip up the drag strip and lots of cars on the lawn for show. Huge crowds, food. Was...
Isn't that the free market? Seams to me the dealer can do what they want and treat you how they want. If you don't like it you're free to shop somewhere else or switch to another brand. Obviously there is strong enough demand and loyalty to the brand they can get away with this without worrying...
Don’t care for the stripe, tacked on scoops or circular rear deck badge. As usual the grill off center badge is great. There was a model (14 my maybe?) that also had a cool spoiler but otherwise I’m not a fan of anything else in the package.
Correct me if I’m wrong but until recently (2018) the automatics in mustangs lagged performance wise to their manual counterparts....I know way back in the Fox era the autos were dogs from the factory. Stock of course. People have been building them out for drag racing for some time.
If I remember the terminator finally defeated the 4th gen and was kind of a fitting way to send the camaro into hiatus...at the time the excuse was that it was supercharged...it definitely beat 4th gen f bodies
I hear what you're saying. I'd still be cool with it being called 'King Cobra'.... whatever they do I'm boring of the Shelby moniker. Wish they'd bring back just regular cobra, or even create something new, but it's probably too risky.
I agree with you that people have some liberal definitions of stock. For me stock means what the car rolled off the show floor with. Small adjustments like Lowering tire pressure etc is ok by me, ripping out seats etc is too far. Just my definition. Just be thankful we aren't back in the mid to...
As a casual car enthusiast and bench racer, the top end trap speed is indicative of a cars power and also if it will pull from a roll no? Every time slip I've seen for the hero runs shared at camaro6 are trapping around 115 in avg. seems the new mustang is trapping closer to 118-120. And we've...
These wheels are literally good looking enough compared to current options that if I were ordering I'd want to wait. I don't care for the multi-spoke design and black is hit or miss for me. These are awesome. I actually started a thread recently and heard they are "late availability"
I've said this before, and I actually forget the answer I'm sorry. Has any Bullitt had more POWER? I'm talking measureable, from the factory 5-10 hp bump on the GT? I feel like the last iterations were kind of just cosmetic with maybe mention of 1 or 2 suspension pieces. I would dig the...
This. I want to know what these things can run stock. Most of these groups immediately start modding and I understand why but with no good baselines it loses context. Plus many of us like to bench race bone stock vs bone stock for bragging rights.
