Just like the title says? What's the high hp someone is putting down n/a? Obvious mods being long tubes, full exhaust, e85, and intake. What else is there though, ported intake manifold, ported heads, thinner gaskets to bump compression?

For N/A motors to make max power, everything comes into play, all that you mentioned plus weight reduction, pulleys, friction, rotating mass, unsprung weight. Add in dry sump oiling, vacuum enhancement for the crankcase, higher rpm ceiling, tuning at the edge. All in all it can be more expensive than a turbo or blower application.

@honeybadger hit almost 550 RWHP with long tubes, intake snorkel, STOCK INTAKE MANIFOLD, ported cylinder heads, E85 and of course a retune on a Mustang Dyno. JPC has also done a few with the same deal on 93 octane that hit into the high 530's on their Dyno Dynamics roller.

I'm assuming you're asking because I posted about cams recently?

Oooooh I hadn't seen this but now I have! If be really interested to see some dyno results on those cams.

My interest just is trying to keep the car na and having some decent power. The idea of boost sounds amazing and I might go that route eventually, I would love to keep it na and do some autocross/track days.

Have you done any autocross or track days yet? If not, save the money you'd be spending on chasing more power and put it to use getting seat time, tires and brake pads. It sounds cliche and people say that a lot but there's a mountain of truth behind it. The GT350 is a massively capable car and the R is even more so.

That'll net around 525RWHP or so which is now common place. There are some of us who want even more, like around 550RWHP and not everyone has easy access to E85 either.
