Man, what a shitty day. Hope the driver and if any occupants are ok. It's a Texas license plate.

I also hope everyone involved is OK! Look, understand, this track driving stuff is a dangerous business (hobby), especially when you are dealing with 500+ HP car...that's all I'll say at this point.

Ouch. Looks like it may have gone into the tire barrier and bounced out, rolling onto its roof in the process.

All I know is what I heard but this was from witness accounts.

The incident occurred in turn 4 where he appears to have been out of the racing line (here it is off camber) then slid into the tire barrier flipping the car. I had heard he walked away unscathed except for I would imagine his pride. Hallett is a track if you blow your entry into the turns it can bite you quickly.

Bad karma to share this
Agreed, if the owner wants to post this and give feedback I have no problem, otherwise best to let it alone. Think about if it was your car would you like it if somebody posted your pain all over the interwebz.

Now I will get off my soap box.

1) I hope the occupants are OK
2) Track insurance. Get it. It's peanuts in the scheme of things.

I'm curious, why don't people just remove their plates when they go tracking? I'd either take it off, or put a custom vanity plate for off-road use.

Hell, I'm thinking about making one just so I don't have to avoid taking a picture of my plates all the time.

Bad karma to share this
So because I shared a photo of a GT350 I found on Facebook it's bad karma...... Didn't know there were limitations to content that can be posted dealing with accidents and photos. Seems silly to bring karma into this. It's like taking a picture of an fender bender and sending it to a friend. Is that bad karma too?

If it was my car I'd be happy to answer any and all questions about the accident. Who knows if the owner is even on this forum. All I did was share a photo from Facebook.
