What difference does it make if it's on the street or track? I don't see the difference between wrecking on the track and wrecking on the street. If this was my car and I saw this post I'd be happy to see that the one thing people are most concerned about is if the driver was ok. Like I've said from the beginning, the person that took the photo took it because it's his job. This wasn't someone that saw it and took a photo. If I didn't post the picture it would have been posted anyway by someone else. The other thing I think all y'all that seem to want to bring karma into this is that no one here is making fun of the guy. I've crashed at this track before on a bike and had my photo taken of it and was happy to see that people cared more about if I was ok and that no one was making fun of it even though it was not my fault in the accident. I never once thought it was disrespectful that someone took a picture of it. We, as people, are fascinated by accidents for some reason. So I'm sorry if by posting a photo that was already on the biggest social media website out there onto this forum was disrespectful or conjuring up bad karma. If it pleases those that are already displeased just take the post down mods.

Just because you have the personal belief that it's not disrespectful and that you, personally, don't mind - you cant imagine a world where someone else thinks differently than you?

Funny... bad karma? Sheesh...

As a doctor I post pics of fat people, clogged coronaries and bad EKGs so as to instruct students or educate patients.

I guess I'm being inappropriate?... ok.

I was giving an example dealing with the situation at that very track where the guy the photographed my accident, the exact same photographer that took this photo, asked if he could post the photo. You're taking what I said in a different direction than what I stated.

TO clarify - I'm speaking generally. This picture, who knows since as was stated, it was on a FB page from the photographer....(although doesn't mean there was permission given, BTW - the photographers technically own the photos).

This seems to be a generational thing to a degree. The younger crowd seems to feel that everything is free and nothing is private. Enzo - mind sharing your age, out of curiosity?

I just have that voice in the back of my mind that says "is this a nice thing to do?"...and I think a lot of people don't have the same voice. It is what it is.

I'm not taking it in any direction - try not to TRY to be offended. I didn't see the part where he asked you permission. Like I said, I'm speaking generally...about people taking pictures of wrecks at the track.

The photographer does own the photos, that you are correct on, but after knowing him for as long as I have and knowing the type of gentleman he is, he would not post pictures without the owners permission or if anyone was injured. I can't agree nor disagree on the age thing because I don't know any of you personally or your ages. I am 23 so your assumptions may be correct on the generation aspect of it. I did not intend for this post to become such an issue. All I did was post a picture that was going to make its way on the forum anyway. The best part is, on his Facebook page a lot of people decide to comment about how it was a "typical mustang driver" or some comment about crowds. At least this crowd has the respect and concern of the driver first and foremost.

Damn. Don't we have other crap to argue about, like why Trump hasn't lowered the price of Michelin Sport Cup 2 in GT350R spec?

I'm personally wondering if NASA is FOS with all these new planets they SAY they found. How do we fact-check them?... eh?
