To each his own - I wasn't calling anyone out, in particular...just a different point of view. Every instance is a little different - but in the situation where person X doesn't know the driver or anyone involved, takes a picture, posts it on his FB page for the world to see the carnage....I'd like to think a car guy wouldn't do that. It is not a temp TX tag. It is a regular issued plate.

That actually looks like a Texas Dealer plate (see red writing under TEXAS) that is used for their loaners, demos, personal use, etc., until they decide to sell it. They can still be sold as new. Might want to be careful if you see one in that color come up at a good price here it Texas and there probably won't be a CARFAX report on it...

Good catch, I think you are right, I downloaded the image and zoomed in, Cant tell what it says, but i'm about 90% sure that is a D-tag, I see them pretty often being in the car business, looks nothing like the normal state issued texas plates.
